Hey everyone, hope you enjoyed the episode! The move into my wife's parents house is complete, so the next video shouldn't take nearly as long.
And by the way... the video is going to be the long awaited Beta64 - SpongeBob Battle For Bikini Bottom!! :D
Hope you're having a good day, I appreciate you all a lot! Seriously, thanks for watching!

Good luck in all your endeavors, you’ll get on your feet in no time

I wonder how they got the idea of putting “bah”s in the music...🤔

Something that always stuck out to me in that first footage, is how Mario seems to be kind of a copy/paste from Mario 64, but in a 2D plain, because of the way he moves and the fact that he has the backflip.

Kind of what Ubisoft did with the first Raving Rabbids on DS, where it seems like they took the engine from Rayman 2 DS and used it to make a 2D game.

Beta 64 - Battle for Bikini Bottom isn’t taking a very short time—

35:05 I remember being a little kid reading the manual and wondering why the bottom screen looked different in the booklet. Neat to finally have that question answered eleven years later.

Never saw an express vpn as where they focus on getting stuff that is region-locked rather than “oh my internet privacy is super important blah blah blah blah blah”

take a shot every time he says “unused in the game’s files” ....... you’ll die

Hey man, hope you're doing okay. We need you back soon, there's no other content like this out there.

The “unused” Koopa model was actually used for when they are on cages.

Most games with unused tiles: "Okay, we are not gonna use those, just leave them behind or archived for resource and move on with the new ones."
Nintendo: "Cross that hell out of them inmediately! No one will ever think of using these in the future."

When I first got nsmb it was a bootleg copy in which the minigames didn't work. The manual it came with was more like a review with tons of beta press renders/screenshots and I spent way too much time as a kid analyzing them and wondering why the UI was so different

Fun fact: the big trampolines at 30:58 ended up being used in a rom hack, called Newer Super Mario Bros.

"So the next video shouldnt take nearly as long"

6:30 what are the chances they saw a reel of multiple games, and it was a clip of NSMBDS, followed by a clip of Paper Mario TTYD? That sounds exactly like the Bowser levels in that game.

"Let's just take it with a grain of salt."
Sprinkles like one hundred grains of salt.

11:52 - Mario opened his hands! The only other DS game I can think of that he done that is Hoops 3-on-3 and the Olympics.

I know this will get buried but, I'd really like to see a Beta 64 for Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. The game turns ten this year, alongside having an incredibly interesting development history. Everything from Spyro's Kingdom to the prototype Skylander designs is, as previously stated, incredibly interesting.
