People forget, Charles doesn’t freeze time. He freezes people’s perceptions, so they stop moving and seeing and thinking. They are unaware of what happened when he does it.

Finally someone new reacts to the Rogue Cut! Thank you!

I always think "How do they get DNA from blood? I thought red blood cells had no nucleus, so no DNA..." And forget that there's a bunch of differ kinds of cells in blood.

Yeah they showed that Charles was alive with a post credits scene at the end of X-Men Last Stand. He put his consciousness in the mind of a branded guy. Which I guess somehow changed the guys appearance? But we don’t get into it you just accept it haha. Also the post credits scene of “The Wolverine they showed him and Magneto getting ahold of Logan.

This and X2 are my favorite XMEN movies! My only issue with this is how Eric got shot in the neck and yet was fine when he flew off at the end, lol

According to Stan Lee, Professor X (Charles Xavier) and Magneto were frequently referenced as being inspired by—or serving as a parallel to—Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.
While Lee stated in later interviews that the civil rights dynamic (representing contrasting philosophies on how to fight for equality and deal with oppression) mirrored the relationship between King and Malcolm X, comic historians and the original 1960s publication history note a few nuances:

The Original Intent vs. Later Evolution: When Stan Lee and co-creator Jack Kirby first introduced the X-Men in 1963, the characters were not explicitly designed with the Civil Rights movement in mind. Magneto initially functioned more as a standard comic book supervillain.
The Social Analogy: As the comics progressed—particularly under later writers like Chris Claremont—the mutant metaphor of being hated and feared for being "different" heavily leaned into real-world civil rights struggles, prompting Stan Lee to embrace the parallels between Professor X's dream of peaceful integration (like MLK) and Magneto's militant stance on separatism or defense by any means necessary (like Malcolm X).

I hate when people say “it unterrupts the flow” or whatever, when talking about an extended cut. I don’t buy that at all. It adds Rogue to the movie. The whole section where they rescue her is just more action, and happens at the same time where Magneto is getting his helmet. So idk how it interrupts anything.

The scene at the end is the Apocalypse and the four horsemen.

I got the joke 41:00 and 100%. His only company for years has been a depressed man lol

THANK you for watching the Rogue Cut. Almost no one does when reacting to this.

The film that so many of the others built up to!

For some reason, this time around I wanted your introduction to be reversed: "Welcome back to Lauren and Harry. I'm Flix and this is Feels."

@Onz70 1 month ago

You don't what you are missing until you have slept on a water bed, they were pretty awesome. My wife and I had one.

Oh wow the vid

As noted, this is in my top 5 fav superhero films, especially this cut. There are minor pacing issues with the Rogue one but that but it doesn't have the side-by-side Rogue espace/Eric gets his helmet scene. It always fills the giant missing plot point of Kitty bleeding out. When Charles tells Bobby that they have to continue the mission, that's the last time her wounds are mentioned.

Merci!

How many fans caught the REAL cameos in this film?! Another fun X-Men film but it deviates very much from the comic, Shadow Cat doesn't have any such telepathic ability but it was her originally that was sent forward into the future to report back to the preset (80s). This film sort of reversed the direction of time travel. Also most of these characters didn't exist in the 80s when the original comics hit shelves. And using Raven's mutant ability makes NO SENSE because she only mimics someone's appearance not their powers.

@PeterSaenz-hz9df 1 month ago

Kitty doesn't actually have the time travel ability. That power in the comics actually belonged to Scott and Jean's daughter Rachel, but the producers went against introducing her in this film.

@alrayos7420 1 month ago

Rogue can absorb someones power but she cant tranfer it to someone, so she can absorb wolverine's healing factor but she cant put it on magneto for him to heal himself
