X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) | First Time Watching | They Did Deadpool DIRTY 😤⚔️

4,760 views

Harry & Lauren react to X-Men Origins: Wolverine for the very first time — a completely blind reaction to the 2009 superhero film. Continuing our full X-Men journey and this one is... interesting.

Hugh Jackman is as brilliant as ever and the Wolverine origin story has genuine moments — but the writing lets it down in ways that are hard to ignore. A fun enough popcorn watch but we completely understand why fans have mixed feelings about this one. What's your verdict on X-Men Origins? Let us know below! 👇

Hugh Jackman absolutely gave it everything and the man deserved better writing than this! 😤⚔ Still a fun enough popcorn watch though. What's your verdict on X-Men Origins? Let us know below! (Some cool links below!)

Despite its flaws as a cohesive film, many fans view it as an entertaining, standalone "junk food" comic book movie. Hugh Jackman's commitment to the role remains the anchor of the film, and the opening montage depicting Wolverine and Sabretooth fighting side-by-side through various American wars is often cited as the best sequence in the movie

The guy in the first X-Men had a better look, for Sabertooth, but Liev Schriber undeniably gave the best performance.

I feel bad for Wade. Stryker and the surgeons surgically shut his mouth and turned him into a weapon.

Hi guys. You know, for 2 years there has been only ONE reaction to ARLINGTON ROAD on YouTube by two young adults and I keep asking other people to watch it, I'd like to hear the opinion of adults reacting to that movie for the first time, but one told me she'd already seen it, one or two told me they'd put it on their lists but so far nothing, and you guys who have kept in contact with me about it while genuinely trying to find it, which I truly appreciate btw, but today someone FINALLY posted a reaction.
I know it has nothing to do with you but you guys are two of my favorite reractors and I actually wanted you to be the "first" to react to it but oh well, you can't have it all. Anyway, I just thought I'd share the update, I truly hope you find a copy soon, it's an underrated gem that'll blow your minds and make you question everything.
That's all, have a great day or night.

Wade Wilson in the form of Weapon XI is played by Scott Adkins. You may know him from the roles of Yuri Boyko in the Undisputed series of films; Hector (Jean Villain's assistant) in The Expendables 2; King Amphitryon in Hercules: The Beginning of the Legend; Lucian (Kecilius's assistant) in Doctor Strange; John in Uncharted 4; and Killa Harkan in John Wick 4.

The other Wolverine movie is not a prequel. But it has flashbacks. Maybe flashback, singular.

Remi Lebeau's mutant ability is the grant kinetic energy into non potential objects = charging objects with energy that will cause explosions.

Wolverine vs Victor creed was awesome 😎

@TheReaper9421 2 months ago

Gambit can control kinetic energy. He can turn potential energy into kinetic energy, making an object explosive. He uses cards because they're easier to carry and throw, and because they charge quickly due their size. He can also use his powers to enhance his physical capabilities. I could elaborate further, but this is the general gist.

Great reaction again guys 👍
Not the greatest of X-Men movies (I really disliked it when it was released) but it's nice to watch along with you guys.

Hope you keep them coming 😁
