Plants love being divided and I'm sure that the moved plants will reward you next year. I did this last year with some Asters and Rudbeckia and they've been amazing this year. You both work so hard in your garden and it's looking great.

Your soil looks so rich.    That is why your plants grow so well and multiply..  Wish my garden had soil like that.   We are so dry with not having much rain the past month.   I like the garden trousers that  Laws wears.   I wear knee sleeves under my loose garden jeans to protect and help my aging knees and sometimes also wear knee sleeves on the outside of my jeans too.  That helps knees if you have issues and want to get down and work in the garden.    You mentioned native plants.  Some people who are new to gardening don't know what native plants are.   An explanation in a video or two might help them.   The star native plant in my garden right now is an unknown variety of Ironweed with beautiful small lavender flowers.  It kind of looks like aster, but is not.   It is about 2 feet tall.    Butterflies really like it.     I look forward to your videos and your teamwork.  Thanks for sharing.

The ' problem' with perennials is that they do increase at a fantastic rate. Great value for money, especially if you have big gardens with lots of space to fill.
I find my shrubs burgeon as well. I've cut mine back three times after flowering this year❤❤❤

Great video and a wonderful garden! I wish we had some of your rain! It has rained just once (about 1/2" total) here in NC in the last 5-6 weeks. The only up-side is that we did have a much cooler August that usual.
