Very inspiring, I've lost count of the amount of times I've tried to find advice on interesting plants for dry shade. Thanks for focussing on plants that are a bit different to the usual!

I have moved quite a few times but always take some of my sweet William with me. My neighbors now love it and it has spread into their property, which they have kept covered with this plant also. It's name is very fitting with the word "sweet" because it really is.

A truly beautiful composition. Thank you Rosy, for once again breaking down all 'myths' & constraints... I have been challenged over this exact garden spot for years. You explain things so well, always with added tips & information & you always provide the rarely thought of, but beyond gorgeous combinations. Gratitude

Lamium maculatum is my favorite for this. Silver foliage and purple flowers

These are great suggestions for a spot in my garden in which there is morning sun only. I especially appreciated the planting plan at the end. Thank you Rosy for another really informative presentation.

Excellent and interesting choices as always. Dry shade is normally an area that peaks in early spring if its under trees. Variegated types of vinca minor add a great splash of colour in the shady bits where I am. Early spring bulbs work well if the trees are deciduous. Brunnera and Lungwort can also be pretty tough once it's got going.

Rosy thank you for addressing dry shade in this cottage garden video. Very few channels do this . My garden is mainly dry shade as I’m bordered by mature sycamore trees. I ‘d like something taller near the fence line, would the taller variety , Acanthus spinosus tolerate deep shade as the white & purple foliage would illuminate that area. More shade videos are always welcome , thank you.
