Iman, I just have to say - when I watch your videos, I feel like teenage me again, a girl who loved tumblr and alternative fashion and expressed herself freely, and who I think, as an adult, has largely been ignored in the name of more practical and "safe" pursuits. I feel so inspired when I watch your videos, to be more like you, that is, to be more like myself!! More bold, more unique, and more present in my own life. beautiful video! about signatures being constantly repaired, I feel that handmade garments often become signatures because the process of creation makes me value them more and makes them feel perfectly tailored to /me/. in fall/winter, this manifests itself a lot through accessories. the knit rusty orange headband with white flecks keeps my ears warm all season. 🍁

Its always fun to hear people name the thing you have been feeling/observing around you! I have always been told by the people around me (strangers, acquaintances and friends) that I have specific, or signature clothes or accessories that they notice about me. At first it was a bit jarring for people to point those things out, but now those pieces have become something i can build on, and often a great conversation started haha. I also feel like it helps with creating joy and beauty in trying to find something that fits you, and provides a care towards that world

I was already liking a lot of what you were saying and showing but then you picked up your phone when your mum called and you spoke arabic and italian flawlessly. I would not have guessed you spoke italian so well as you were not having an accent in english and we italians are not really know for our received pronunciation! 😂 Now I’m definitely hooked and want to know more about you and your content! 😊

I’m British and you said Cath Kidston correctly! Pls don’t worry about your accent. I had so many Italian immigrants in my secondary school, and I loved their accent.

CK still exists in the UK and probably a few other countries. But the brand doesn’t have its own website/shop anymore (I miss those days…). You can only buy CK in Next now.

In terms of my signature, for winter I use light blue as a neutral (for socks etc) but I have not figured our my fall signature because I think I'm trying to embrace lighter colours into my fall/winter wardrobe so I'm in the midst of building that state.
