Achara & Vivian watch Why Did I Get Married Again?, the third installment in Tyler Perry’s relationship dramedy series, arriving 16 years after Why Did I Get Married Too?. This time, the longtime friends reunite in Italy for the destination wedding of Marcus and Angela’s daughter Jasmine, only to discover that the next generation has inherited plenty of their parents’ complicated relationship problems—and that the older couples still have a few secrets of their own.

Written and directed by Tyler Perry (Why Did I Get Married?, Madea’s Family Reunion, Diary of a Mad Black Woman), the film reunites Tyler Perry (Gone Girl, Don’t Look Up, A Madea Homecoming), Jill Scott (Why Did I Get Married?, Black Lightning, Baggage Claim), Tasha Smith (Empire, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Survival of the Thickest), Michael Jai White (Black Dynamite, Spawn, The Dark Knight), Sharon Leal (Dreamgirls, Addicted, This Christmas), Richard T. Jones (The Wood, Judging Amy, The Rookie), and Lamman Rucker (Meet the Browns, Greenleaf, The Man in 3B), alongside Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures, Empire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hustle & Flow).
