Jaby & Michael watch the recently released Netflix film Why Did I Get Married Again?, reuniting with Tyler Perry’s longtime group of friends sixteen years after Why Did I Get Married Too?. This time, the couples come together for the destination wedding of Marcus and Angela’s daughter, only to discover that the next generation has inherited plenty of their relationship drama, forcing everyone to reflect on love, marriage, and the examples they’ve set.

Written and directed by Tyler Perry (Why Did I Get Married?, Madea’s Family Reunion, Gone Girl, A Fall from Grace), the film reunites Jill Scott (Why Did I Get Married?, Why Did I Get Married Too?, Black Lightning), Michael Jai White (Black Dynamite, Spawn, The Dark Knight, Blood and Bone), Tasha Smith (Why Did I Get Married?, Empire, For Better or Worse), Richard T. Jones (The Rookie, Judging Amy, Event Horizon), Sharon Leal (Dreamgirls, Addicted, Why Did I Get Married?), and Lamman Rucker (Meet the Browns, Greenleaf, The Man in 3B), with Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Empire, Hustle & Flow) joining the franchise alongside a new generation of characters.
