Very impressed with Battle Readiness of Wichita Fire Department. Members are ready to go as soon as they get off Rig. This is how we operated when I was on the job City Of Paterson NJ. Snap in regulator and go to work. None of this dropping to your knees at the front door to put hood, mask gloves on just lock in regulator and go to work. Readiness is key treating every call like a fire.

Who or what is SFD?

A 400 foot stretch? why? Unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary because long driveways, etc...I will never understand why these long stretches are a thing. I have been to very few fires where a 200 ft stretch won't work just fine. And this does not appear to be one of those super long set back houses on a long driveway.
