I highly recommend getting two kittens of the same age if you do decide to take the plunge and adopt a kitty :) They are super cute when they play together, snuggle and sleep , and they entertain each other when you are busy. They will also "help" you do your work, by staring at you, sitting on your papers, and attempting to turn everything into a toy. So long as you never ever use your bare hands or feet as toys, you should be fairly good ! I don't want to write a book or anything, but I've had kitties for many decades now and have a vague idea how to get along with them lol my current boys are fourteen but still quite spry, as we play several times a week, and I feed them many teeny tiny meals every night. If you treat cats sort of like dogs, giving clear word commands, they can learn food, toy, play, water, etc :D

Helen, you are Magical.  Your videos are always so inspiring and calming.  The strength it takes to share what is such a sacred space to you along with some of the details of what you experience is just incredible and not something that many people have.  Thank you for being you and for all the wonderful elements you bring to this world.

Cat family here. Look into a Burmese cat. They are short haired, fantastic company, very affectionate & very loyal. Wonderful company. I cannot imagine my life without at least one cat in it. Enjoy your research!

In my Chinese-American family, we use Ye Ye to indicate paternal grandfather and Gong Gong to indicate maternal grandfather, so I find the difference very interesting!

Kitty glitter in an order would make my day, personally.

I can say YES to cats!! We’re actually adopting one, mine is a female Siberian cat that will be here in September. I wanted a cat for ages, since I had 2 when I was young. In my adulthood I’ve got allergy to them, and couldn’t have one so far… but I decided in July to give my family the privilege of adopting a little one, Siberian has very low FED1 so I hope to be able to manage my allergies in some way. I can’t wait for her arrival here! We are prepping all the things for a proper welcoming. ❤

I miss your small pocket journal where you just jot down whatever in your small notebook.

I so look forward to your videos each Sunday!  Calm, creative, and inspiring!

origins of totalitarianism!!!! a fav. happy reading helen 🤍

I so look forward to your monthly updates!
I admire the consistency you have in your journals. I seem to have a need to change things up every few months.

I am so sorry things did not work out for you and your friend.  At least you tried.  Always go with your gut.  You know what is best for you.

Love cats! They are so cute!

I was at Cafe Belem in Toronto today with friends and thought of you because they has a huge shelf display only filled with different fancy cans of sardines!

Bring on the cat hair. They help with anxiety and depression. All the snuggles and midnight zoomies are awesome.

I meditate frequently each week, I hope to see some meditation theme emotis one day T^T

Happy Cozy Planner Times! You were definitely busy for sure. And I think a pet could do wonders for your mental health. I always feel better having a furry companion. I have a pet rabbit myself. And I highly encourage adoption, and another idea is to foster if you want to get your feet wet. ❤

Happy Sunday Helen. I’m still in shock it’s already August. I really love the idea that you have a sketchbook to sketch your nephew. That is such a great idea and he is definitely growing up very fast. I always tell myself that when I see my nieces and nephews.

I think your monthly updates is my most favorite from your videos. Hehehe. Okay… and your journal vlogs and you real time plan with me. Okay. Haha. Hope you have a great BIRTHDAY WEEK.

Happy for you, give us updates on your dates, would love to hear more 😊

I believe the first pen is a Sailor Pro Gear Slim Mini Fountain Pen in Blush. Very Nice!

Thank you for sharing! I always appreciate your genuine and honest flips and thoughts. Your flips are always so inspiring personally and artistically. Happy birthday!!! ❤
