I could watch that Sharks Game 7 comeback against Vegas for the rest of my life and I don’t think I would ever lose the goosebumps that I feel each time. That had to be one of the greatest comebacks or game in general during the playoffs.
Don't let this video distract you from the fact that Vegas blew a 3-0 lead in under 5 minutes with 10 minutes to go in Game 7, after blowing a 3-1 series lead, and blamed it on the refs.
For the Sharks one, it went from one of the worst moments of my hockey life to the best. My parents were at the game, and, believe it or not, I have a picture framed to Goodrow scoring that last goal in OT.
that Sharks and GKnights game still gives me major goosebumps. I actually met Pavelski at a Wisconsin Hockey camp and to see him injured hit hard. I remember Joe Thornton saying when they got that 5minute power play "We're gettin 'em all right now" i was pushing for the Sharks so hard, and i'm so glad that they came through,
I remember watching the Sharks Knights Game 7 with my friend who never watches hockey, and he just says "it's 3-0, this game is over", and I just said "you know what they say about 3-0 leads? It's the most dangerous lead you can have in hockey. Anything can happen here, it's only 3 goals". He lost his shit when they made that comeback, and so did I tbh.
Man I miss Martin Brodeur being in the league. Not only was he elite at his position, but the dude had a certain charisma on the ice and was entertaining.
