I want to say that after over 100 battle tests and another 12 hours of testing in actual battles, CREDIT DUE here to Bill Wavey - our results showed almost the exact same thing, and from a different approach(actual battle), that the best one-handed weapon is in the 107-110 reach with high speed and damage - cheers brother, just wanted to put this Tactical Enlightenment Endorsement on these results AND this youtuber. I think spears need a heavy rework. They are the main weapon in medieval armies for a reason

The truth is that no matter your weapon stats, IF ONE guy with a branch in his hand throws a block, he blocks the whole group from your strike. Meanwhile shields pay for that with item HP and DON'T prevent cleave.

They really should add a special equipment slot just for a dagger. That way, people who prefer really big long weapons can have a dagger for fighting in really tight spaces.

My favorite part of weapons in bannerlord, you can craft a legendary weapon and it can still be blocked by a peasant with a stick.
