I don't actually care about strong female characters, I care about female characters being written well. So I really appreciate these types of videos.

I gotta say, Pursuit of Jade is the best Cdrama i have seen. Every female is ACTUALLY a strong female lead in every way.

I absolutely love the female lead in Prisoner of Beauty. She’s the definition of a true diva beautiful, strong, and effortlessly captivating. Whenever I think of a powerful female character, she’s the first one that comes to mind.

What I admire most is how calm and composed she stays, even in the most intense situations. Her intelligence, confidence, and quiet strength make her stand out. She doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful her presence alone speaks volumes.

She’s not just strong on the outside but also emotionally resilient, graceful under pressure, and always in control. Honestly, she sets the standard for what a strong female lead should be, and I can’t get enough of her.

P.s I watched that drama for 4 times already just because of her

Fated Hearts is a Cdrama done absolutely right, the ML and FL enemies arc was so believable and their transition from enemies to respecting each other to friends and then falling in love was done so organically it was beautiful to watch I also appreciated Li Qin as a Female General, she had gravitas and actually looked the part and the ML and FL chemistry was incredible

I love when you make videos about c/kdramas. and a video about strong female leads, i'm sat.

I think Pursuit of Jade wandered off the point in the last third, but it didn't do anything to ruin the show. Dream within a Dream leans heavily into the comedy throughout but it does settle down into an actual plot after a few episodes, and the female lead is actually pretty great.

I actually think New Life Begins brought a fresh look on women strength and not losing femininity and emotional intelligence. So many times the strong FL has basically a male stoic personality, instead of being a woman whos also strong in character, moral and principles. This drama was great in showing different types of female strengths, and the FL was amazing in showcasing new ways to be strong for yourself and others without using physical strength as a crutch like in other shows.

My girl Fan Changyu is the strong female lead. I didn’t know she was based on an actual historical figure. She was the only female general in history granted the title of Marquis and her husband was a chieftain. Miss girl was undefeated and outlived her husband and children and died of old age. 😂❤

I sat through almost ALL the cdramas w strong female leads that u recommended in an earlier video, and girl ur taste DID NOT disappoint!! Am gladly SAT for the new recommendations too. Thank u for ur service!!<3

I actually disagree about love in the clouds. I think that even though she lost her physical strength she was very capable throughout the show and used her wit as opposed to her physical strength. and in the moments when she had her powers she was crazy strong. idk maybe im bias because it is one of my favs.

About time someone include Glory😩😩 it’s so good and underrated

@sarashyshy8650 6 months ago

So glad that I could agree with the majority of your tiers. I literally applauded when you mentioned Wonderland of Love, such an amazing drama that people rarely mention. And I’m always so relieved when the directors don’t pull off the “she’s the strongest and smartest but…never more than the male lead”. That really grinds my gears! 😅

Bestie road to empress part 3 whennn????

@liessynchro5780 6 months ago

A Dream Within a Dream is more of a parody of all the tropes in cdramas, and should be viewed more of as a comedy, the misunderstandings are not bad, there's a frustating bit at the middle, but its worth it, its a series that is best enjoyed if u have seen cdramas before. And it has multiple endings.

song zuer in prison of beauty got me captivated.. how can a person be so beautiful and graceful

I love Minglan to the point that I lie about the plot just so people don't get their hopes up. And it is 73 episodes which is a big ask for new viewers catching up on older shows.
