Making this video made me relapse...

I kid you not, these vertical C-dramas are so ridiculous it's addicting. I literally have a playlist full of them 😭 A transmigration one will always hit 😂 GLAD YOU ARE BACK QUEEN 😊

OMGGGGGGGGGGG The plot holes and the over dramaticness of vertical dramas never fail to make me  laugh i just cant take them seriously loll

the whole bullying the elderly thing is just a cheap easy way to make you hate the antagonist fast since respecting the elderly is a big deal in east Asia

vertical c-dramas are a genre of their own 😭

I'm so addicted. My biggest complaint is when there's not ENOUGH revenge after an hour of the villains being obnoxious. Like, what do you mean all 6 of them were in a car wreck and died at once? WHERE IS MY JUSTICE?!

The swimming scenes have me rolling bc she's just launching herself like a dolphin during freestyle with pure strength of will

As a south asian girlie, we grew on these type of shows except they were 10x more angles, fights and gasps totaling to like 1000 episodes

Girl my dad is addicted to these shorts and it's not even in Chinese it's dubbed in standard Arabic.. it's even funnier and it sounds like cartoon 😂

THE TRIPLE SLAP HAS ME DYING BAHAHAHHAHAAAAHHA😭

Rage baiting plots & acting is so bad but these plots were EVERYTHING back then😭😭😭

these dramas are absurd plotwise but addicting. so hilarious. i'm surprised only one of the scenes looks familiar to me, i hvaen't seen any of the rests. but the plots are always the same hahah and there are so many of them

14:56 I'll say it out loud: if the male lead isn't good-looking, I stop watching 😭

Oh, and my favourite plots (that I'd basically watch in every version) is - two sisters reborn and switch husbands, 2 besties get transmigrated into a book as vllainesses - wifes of 2 MLs, and - of course - when FL herself is either transmigrated into a book villainess or when she is reborn after the betrayal and has to convince her hubby that loved her in all lifetimes that she now loves him and doesn't want to leave him ;) I buy these tropes EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

I ADORE vertical dramas.  That’s 90% of what I watch now.   The revenge is so satisfying and the men are HOT.

The only thing I hate about vertical c-dramas, is that the person who post them never gives the titles to them for me to go watch. The amount of time I spend researching them just to find the title is insane 😂🤣.

These dramas are like my guilty pleasure because why am I watching these dramas on different apps because of one video I randomly got recommended help

14:32 if she can deliver the same power of a slap to three people at once, I'm not offending miss girl. I don't know what a punch will look like from her

7:59 i LITERALLY just finished one where she has a one night stand with a younger guy (she getting married in an arranged marriage the very next morning) and the guy she slept with the night before turns out to be her new husband’s grand-uncle?! It was wild.

About those serious actors ....
Huge numbers of these guys know they're never going to make the big time ... ppl like Cheng Lei, who did a few short forms for one of the big names before he got a couple of roles in a regular drama, are very, VERY rare ... so a lot of the actors are making short forms their career ... and some of them have really wild senses of humor ... and that's not even the directors ... kml ...
But yeah, no, some of them are making better money now than when they were playing 5th palace maid in some 50 episode historical fantasy saga, and they not even interested in that version of the "big time" the same way anymore ... lol ...
