As dark and hard it is to watch this movie. its alot of beauty behind it. these are literally people’s real life traumas, experiences and lives even when they don’t speak on it. Alot of this is very depressing but life can be depressing and that’s something people are scared to truly explore.

41:10 the older sister suspected but didn't know 100%. The older sister said what she said out of frustration not ill advice. That's why she was so mad when the dance teacher told her the applications were free. I think she would've prevented her sister from going to that place if she saw her before she went. Plus, $300 = approx. 5-6 school applications ✅️😉🙂

Sending her sister to that lady was not helpful. She could die from that

This is tyler perry's best movie and I hate that it has so much criticism. I do think he could have smoothened out the beginnings and the ends of the poems so that it flowed better. But overall it's a very strong film

I clicked on this so FAST!!! Yes this is a traumatic piece but its an informative one, it makes empathetic to the next woman.

8:55 welp I mean it’s not just black movies or shows. Gays been existing since the beginning of time. But we can see gangs, drugs, pedophiles, women being abused etc countless times and that’s not a problem.

I usually love ya reactions but the jokes especially from Mair was crazy felt insensitive, too playful when NOTHING was a laughing matter!! Maybe he was uncomfortable and that’s his mechanism, but try to just listen to understand instead of watching just to talk when the movie tells you the answers!
