I'm so old that I remember Titanic being split into two parts on VHS.

I totally understand the logic behind making multiple parts to a reaction, but MAN does it suck having to wait for the rest.

Fun fact: James Cameron was the one drawing Rose in the scene ☺️

BTW, a nude is not considered “porn”. It’s just a tasteful, beautiful human body.

Mike will never recover.

The captain is the same actor who portrayed Theoden

Two parts just like the VHS 😂 💪🏼

We see the real footage of the Titanic that James Cameron filmed.
We also see his hands drawing Rose.

Rose's only meant to be 17, so technically not grown, which is what makes it even more emotionally wild - carrying her mother's livelihood on her shoulders, marrying a man she despises, living a life she hates...

Knowing Mike interviewed Bill Paxton but was oblivious to movies is hilarious

James Cameron told 20th Century Studios that he was going to make this film—with a love story like Romeo and Juliet. Romeo became Rose, and Juliet became Jack.

Titanic may have sailed from Liverpool, but it was built in Belfast.

Fun Fact about the rudder of the ship (4:43): The Titanic had three propellers. The two outer propellers were powered by traditional steam engines that could run backward, but the central propeller which is located directly in front of the rudder was powered by a turbine that could only spin forward or be shut off completely. When First Officer William Murdoch saw the iceberg, he ordered the engines to be  reversed to slow the ship down. This automatically shut off the central propeller. Because the rudder relies on a high-speed stream of water pushed against it by a spinning propeller to pivot the ship effectively, shutting off that central screw stripped the rudder of its turning power right when the ship needed it most. If the engines had stayed at full speed ahead while turning, the Titanic likely would have cleared the ice safely.

Watched it at the cinema. Was spectacular.

In the early 20th century when an unmarried woman was said to be "in a delicate condition" it meant she was actually pregnant out of wedlock and it was indeed considered "QUITE THE SCANDAL".

Where was the Titanic when the westfold fell!?

Hail Captain Theoden 😁

NOTE: Rose is 17 yrs old. Jack is 20 yrs old. Cal is 30 yrs old. Unfortunately, it was very common for parents to marry off their daughters as young as 14 to old ass men to increase family money from the 1600s to early 1900s.

Good grief, it's been so long ago since I saw this movie in the theatre, and yet - I can still smell the fresh paint!

To answer any questions about the Titanic’s intended route, she was originally built in Belfast Ireland, and upon completion, she sailed from Belfast to Southampton England and was prepared for her maiden voyage, which would be the classic transatlantic Southampton - New York service. The Titanjc would depart Southampton at noon on April 10th, 1912, and arrive at her first stop in Cherborg, France late that evening to pick up more passengers via ferries (because Titanic was too big to fit into the harbor at Cherbourg), and she would then sail overnight to what was then called Queenstown Ireland, to pick up even more passengers, before finally making her way out towards the open north Atlantic and towards New York on the afternoon April 11th. She was scheduled to reach New York sometime on April 17th. But of course that would not be, because at 11:40 PM on the 14th, she would strike the iceberg, and would founder at around 2:20 AM on April 15th. I’m sure this explanation was unnecessary and probably pedantic, but any opportunity I have to nerd out I will take 🤣

4:20 imagine on a big screen? I saw this movie 4 times in the theater bc it was so beautiful.
