You asked, I promised, I delivered. In today's video I spent 40+ hours completing my very first Gothic playthrough. Although I played the Gothic 1 Remake for this video, Gothic 2 (2002) is next and... that's about as retro as it gets. If slamming my head through my desk is what you want, I'm sure you'll enjoy that one. Your setup wants Opera GX: https://operagx.gg/Frostbreak2 Sponsored by Opera GX!
Last/Future Episodes: Frostbreak tries GOTHIC
Gothic 1 Remake is a faithful remake of the 2001 cult classic RPG developed by Alkimia Interactive and published by THQ Nordic. In this video I played through Gothic for the first time, completing the entire game before giving my full review and first impressions.
This is a complete Gothic 1 Remake review, gameplay showcase, retrospective, analysis, and video essay covering the story, world, exploration, combat, progression, factions, quests, and how the remake compares to the original Gothic (which I could only last abt 10 mins in). Whether you're a longtime Gothic fan or completely new to the series, this video explores what makes Gothic one of the most influential RPGs ever made and whether the remake lives up to its legacy!

Lol nvm I just got to the part where you figured that out. 😅
And if you meet an enemy that seems impossible, most of the time it's not worth bashing your head against the wall. Level up and come back later.
