To me, what sells the meme is the fact like he looks like he has a broken nose and bruised cheek. I don’t know the full original context of the clip, but to me, this scene feels like he just got into a major fight and, in order to feel anything other than pain or loneliness or loss, he chooses to head to a club and just… lets the music take hold of him. He might have won the fight, or lost it. All that matters is that he’s injured, he’s hurt, and it’s a lot worse under the surface. Yet he’s just… letting the music carry him away to feel something better. Even for just a moment.
