BRING BACK THE BEAUTIFUL PILLOW THAT YOU MADE WITH YOUR MOM! I think that pillow is the thing that makes the entryway.

@jamgart 1 month ago

Purple rug was the right choice. And I thought the cushion went really well with it?? Was that just me??

@cameronvkl7905 1 month ago

The purple/blue pillow ABSOLUTELY goes with the dark rug. It needs to be back in there!

@JodieMiners 1 month ago

Please put the purple pillow back, it does really go with the purple rug

@vickirickman5828 1 month ago

The pillow you and your mom made really gods with the purple rug.

That pillow and the dark rug will work and look great. The bench needs that pillow.

Hi from Bavaria! Your cute little art piece shows the Schellenturm in Stuttgart, Baden Württemberg, southern Germany. Built 1564 it was part of the city wall. Now there is a restaurant in it. I think I can read „Schellentürmle“ what is a dialect word for little bell-tower. It is named after convicts who had to wear shackles with bells while working. Hope you like this background story. 😉 Your entry looks so cosy. Thank you for all the inspiration. Mona 😊

The pillow totally goes with the purple rugggg!

26:27 I actually really liked the original homemade pillow with the dark purple rug. It made it warm and elevated, in my opinion.

i think that cushion actually went really well with the purple rug! it made the reddy tone look purple, and it also tied it to the blue tone in the stained glass... thank goodness you went with the purple rug tho, i was screaming at the screen 😂

@clarag.o.9138 1 month ago

Purple rug was definitely the right call!

@odemonet 1 month ago

On the screen I thought the original pillow your mom made matched beautifully. But it looks crazy good. I love all of it. You are remarkable.

I know I've said it before, but I just love whenever Vanessa shows up! The two of you together are just a riot. Always a good time.

I am obsessed with that bench back, it is so charming ☺️

@MarthasMuWz 1 month ago

Stunning! So much hard work. Bring back the pillow/cushion that you and your mom made! It adds some light and comfort to the bench.

Glad you’re finally able to finish your entry, it’s been a long time coming! What a beautiful end to the journey ❤ I am sad about not using the pillow you created with your momma though.. I hope that you miss it and it comes back into the space or finds its way into another space of your home because the added element of a project you did with your momma holds so much more value (a least in my mind 🤷🏼‍♀️) and deserves to be cherished

@xingcat 1 month ago

Hooray! It's done! Please keep the pillow AND the purple rug! They go together perfectly!

@scarlettehaynes4819 1 month ago

It looks so cozy and functional! I think the pillow needs to go back! It works fine with the rug! It just adds a more personal touch.

I hope Vanessa reads the comments because I need her to know how hard I laughed at this 🤣☠

I love the seat back in the nook. I think it’s my favourite piece because it has been made by hand. It makes me sad when people make something with their own hands and then constantly apologise for it because it’s not “perfect”. It’s hand made so it will never be perfect and that’s the whole point. If you want “perfect” use a machine. But what it is is completely unique. There will never be another one exactly like it, even if you had made two at the same time. It is something you have decided was worth putting time and effort into. You enjoyed the process and the making of it. Be proud! Love it more because you carved the details into it instead of letting the laser machine do it. And please, stop apologising because it’s not “perfect”. Who knows, it could well be the one thing in the whole makeover that inspires someone to give it a go because not everyone has fancy tools and gadgets to make something like that.
