i’m 19 years old, and i’ve just bought a 2008 GS450H Sport (as my second car) - no one really knows the sport trim exists and there’s 60 left on the UK roads so it’s a bit of a gem. lemme just say, best purchase i’ve ever made.

Running costs...less brake wear, no alternator, no starter motor. No cambelt. V reliable.

Tip: The TPMS (tyre pressure monitor sensors) die every 5-15 years. Lexus will charge around £250-320 per a sensor to supply and fit. Instead go to Costco , they charge £40 each (supply, programme and fit) or some other tyre shops will charge you around £75 each. They need to clone the hex-ID from the old sensor and port that onto the new sensor so your car thinks it's using the old sensor.

i've had my '06 Lexus GS  for 14 years.  It's a totally awesome car.   We just love it........

My wife owned two Mercedes before we put her in a 09 Lexus GS350 Sapphire Pearl in color w/150K on it.  Almost two years later, NO REGRETS!!!

I bought a GS300SE with 100K on the clock. I did 50K miles in 4 years; apart from some brake pads and tyres, it cost me £65 for the exhaust to be welded. Oil services were done by me and when sold everything still worked like the day it rolled off the production line.

Here in Vancouver Canada in April I picked up a 2006 GS 430 with 120K, premium package, black interior all the goodies. Rare car here, only 80 of the GS 430 were sold in Canada in 2006. Wasn't even on my radar, was looking at SC430's then came across this. It handles better, and IMHO looks better. Nicest car I've ever owned.

I have the GS450h 2012 (newer shape) and it's the same engine and I love it... It's smooth and refined when I need it to be, and the sport mode aligned with the 3.5 V6 just Roars and throws people back in there sits.

People focus on finding the "One" in terms of love and I have found mine for sure. Thank you Lexus

I have this car. Just did a nice wee 3000 miles through Spain, France and the UK. A very comfortable place to be, even in 39°c.

Owned GS430 car for 10 years, love it. Just today was drifting it all around the place going sideways.  People judge the badge too much and think they can tell you about the car, go drive it!  Most poeple not driven a Lexus to know.  My wife loves it and I can go sideways.  Bet that!

I bought a 2007 GS 450h a year ago. 123k on the clock full service history £2750 and everything works on it. Best car I've ever had. Absolute mile muncher and nobody really knowing what it is is a bonus 😁

Bought my GS300H six weeks ago, absolutely fantastic car. First Lexus for me and so impressed with the quality and comfort.

I've a 2007 GS450H with just 70k on her just such a beautiful car to drive no issues mechanically and the most amazing Mark Levinson stereo system , radar cruise control, heated and cooled seats , rear sunblind has everything!

Great review JJ I had one as a company car, brand new when they came out, I did 145.000 miles in 3 years in it, included lot's of long distance trips to Europe, Germany, especially, not a single item malfunctioned. At 3 years old, as companies do, it was replaced by a Mercedes, E class, the less said about that the better.
