You forgot to include the moment where he turns deadly

@mitch.thundercok 9 months ago

My God, the way he thrust that spoon into that cup. The speed and precision. That tea didn't stand a chance.

Wow... he's really smooth. He turned deadly and I didn't even see when it happened.

@oldwhtman 11 months ago

I guess I didn't notice the part where he became "deadly".

"cold, precise, unstoppable." Also quiet, clean, and neat. He'd be a great roommate.

My coffee routine this morning had the same danger level.

Denzel has maintained a clean nose all these years. It is not easy. We all want heroes and he has lived up to it. As an actor he has also been legendary. as far as " Equalizer " , the first was definitely superior. too bad they did not put more energy into the sequels - especially as Denzel was such a star that only comes along momentarily in Hollywood.

I love the way everything is completed. With love, respect and kindness.

True story. A guy I worked with was bragging and said, "You see, my girlfriend is 12 years younger than me." I smiled wryly and responded, "When you find one who is 38 years younger like I did, let me know."

The scene is about two troubled souls bonding in friendship. McCall sees Teri for who should could be and not for the hell that she is trapped in. That sets up the narrative for the remainder of the film as to why McCall chose to go to war with the Russian mob and eliminate every possible threat to that young girls freedom!

So smooth that I missed the deadly part.

There are so many deadly weapons on McCall's table everyone should give him a wide berth. Book, teacup (with or without the hot tea), salt and pepper shakers, glass ketchup bottle, spoon, just about everything but the napkins.
