Forging her a new ring with that sledgehammer takes incredible skill.

I want another Equalizer spinoff that is just a Home Depot employee serving justice using a different tool each week. "Tonight's episode brought to you by Ryobi"

Good to know that employees test the quality of the products they sell!

Interesting thing is McCall’s priorities. If the guy had just taken the money, he would have let it go. When it got personal with the ring, you could see the shift in his eyes. There are always lines you don’t cross.

"Whoever wields this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Equalizer" - Robert McCall, probably.

McCall: goes to war to get ring back
Jenny: OMG that thief had a heart and returned my ring!

@RevealedFilms 1 year ago

yea he was cleaning the blood off it. He went round the thief’s house and convinced him to return the ring, the thief agreed and they sat down and had medium rare steak for dinner and he used the hammer to tenderize the steak which is where the blood came from ☺️

Does anyone else want to see this sidequest? It might not have much to do with the overall story, but it would bring an immense bit of gratification.

Every time I walk by the hammer section in the hardware store, I think about this scene.

I liked how McCall just casually sized this guy up in preparation for finding him out.

"Slightly used hammer, ON SALE!
Hardly a scratch on it".

Seeing the kids didn't stop him because there were children around and this bad guy might hurt them. No, the kids reminded him that he's amongst civilians, and he cannot unleash the beast in front of everyone. He is also making a conscious effort to stay under the radar, this would blow that. So he complied because he was 100% sure he can track him down later.

I never look at Home Depot the same way when I go in after watching this movie.

Denzel is one of the best actors of his time in movies and an excellent man in real life. I have the utmost respect for this man and wish him greater success

If the thief hasn’t asked for her mothers ring, he would have gotten away with it.

The ring made it personal

If you’re going to block closed captions for the deaf, make it fair and remove the audio track as well. I wish these clip channels would stop blocking closed captions!!!!

Saw this several years ago, and wondered what did he do to the robber? Then, I thought, I don't even want to know!

Sometimes the best scenes are the ones that show SOMETHING important happened at the BEGINNING AND END, but never the middle to add further to the power of WHAT was trying to be expressed without even needing the HOW. That's amazing writing!

To McCall, that wasn’t a wall of tools - it was as a wall of weapons.👍

Retired Ex-Marine and Black Ops Specialist. Black Ops alone is bada$$, and part of McCall's training in Black Ops is to acquire optical patdowns of your enemies which makes this a deadly assett those assassins possess, not just the way they can kill.
