"Can't you hear me knocking" is perhaps my favorite Stones song. There are so many, though. But, that one they go into a Jam, at the end, which was not what they were noted for. And they kill it!

the change has come, now Mick is calling the shots

On a more serious note, this was the song that the Stones were playing at Altamont when an audience member was knifed to death by a Hell's Angel...

Early Stones...deep, long history and catalog.  Love this song

this is the recording played over the video of a tv show

The Stones do Blues ,Rock ,Country, Disco, Reggae and some of the best Mellow songs that will make you cry. The Beatles sang about how the world should be , The Stones sing about how the world is. Your doing a great job!

Rolling Stones did a show with multiple performer very early in their career ... In that show was James Brown, that was on stage before the Stones came out ... Mick saw James Brown perform, with all his moves and dancing, and said to Keith Richards, "This is what we need to do!!!... Mick went on stage, and this is where he started with all his moves, hip shakes and owning the stage... The rest is history, and here we are, 60+ years later, and Mick still has the moves 😊

The first time i saw the Stones was in 1966 with Brian Jones.

this is one of my favorite Stones songs

I like your reactions.

“Can’t you hear me knocking” is outstanding

Erica, Read “Life”, Keith Richards’ autobiography. Fantastic book. That will get you up to speed on the Stones’ history.

Excellent
Gotta love the bass

The blonde playing the marimba is Brian Jones who was the most instrumental who played a lot of diverse instruments. He was kicked out of the band in 1968 and became a early member of the 27 club.

Ron Wood was not in the Stones at this stage. He was not an original member. He actually replaced the guy (Mick Taylor) who replaced the founding member (Brian Jones).

Slight correction. 'Under My Thumb' was recorded/released by the Stones in 1966. It appeared on their album 'Aftermath' and was included on their Greatest Hits collection 1964-1971.
