Doctor and Sniper: sometimes people just need the permission or excuse to do horrible things. Most of society is designed to pressure people into not being destructive, so we tend to think we're good when we're very often just compliant. The only real test of principles is when following them punishes you.

0:34 Honestly, people who were born in the 80s & 90s should never lament their age. 21st century pop culture has been largely living off of those decades. If you got to experience the late 20th century, consider yourself lucky to carry those memories instead of growing up during the pandemic. In the TV anime realm alone, the likes of Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Rurouni Kenshin, Slam Dunk, Ranma 1/2, Cowboy Bebop, etc... are still being repackaged to this day. And yes, I know that American broadcasters were late to the party, but the franchises were still born from the same era.

it's just crazy that now I'm older than these characters like Kamiya who's 29. I'm in my 30s now, damn time fly fast.

Sniper just became the John Wick of that universe.

The last arc isn't as good as Chapter Black or the Dark Tournament but it has it moments. Togashi was overworked, injured, and just got married so the pacing really suffered and the ideas weren't 100% fleshed out. That said, YYH ending still sticks the landing! The last arc has some great character development which ties with the themes of show beautifully. Enjoy the ride because the end is near!

well, despite how he looks, yusuke has changed. he's now the very thing he fought: a demon. and not just that, he's a S-class demon. meaning, he could end the world if he wanted to. so of course he wouldn't much care about school any more.

A Doctor and Sniper spin off would have been interesting

Nice epilogue. Everybody seemed to have gotten what they wanted in the end. Even Sensui and Itsuki. The one with Sniper is a bit messed up but I don't mind him being a vigilante and getting revenge for the cat.

Fun fact chapter black/psychics are the prototype of NEN abilities, as well as the demon world/dark continent.

I don't know why, but I just realized after watching this reaction just how yyh coded bleach is. So many similar beats to the fullbring arc

24:08 yes. Lol pretty literally. Japanese folklore (via Hindu, Buddhist, and Chinese tradition) often portrays the underworld as a bureaucracy and Enma (or Yama) is often portrayed as a civil administrator or judge seated behind a massive wooden desk.

The next chapter should be interesting for you guys, with a couple of surprises on the way. Yusuke is something different now, more mature (in a way) and here, he was above everybody from the living world and spirit world, including Hiei and Kurama as far as power level. Here we go.
