I had no idea Dolly had severe endometriosis. For it to be bad enough to require surgery, she had to be in an incredible amount of pain every month. Damn, did she get a lot of bad hands but gods be damned if she didn’t let any of that stop her. Incredible woman, RIP legend.

1:54 For anyone watching, that is the VIDEO making the noise, not your computer

Also, if you bought the disc with the game files on it we have the technology to rip the game files off of the disc and run it on an emulator. Because you bought the game files on the disc you own those files.

2:34 CS Lewis was writing that book series like he was going to be hanged if even one person didn't realize that it was about Christianity

The gall to accuse Buzz Aldrin of being a moon landing denier, when there was a pretty famous incident where he punched a conspiracy theorist in the face for calling him a liar about landing on the moon.

5:35 they rolled out TVs for reporting on that in a rural school at the far south of Victoria **in Australia**, that's how big a deal it was

....that first one could be proven wrong g with one factoid. During the revolutionary war, way before 1856, the Brits were called the red coats...soldiers were not royal, and red is a color...

2:50 Tolkien explicitly expressed dislike of the Narnia books specifically because the Christian imagery was too in-your-face. He corresponded with Lewis about that fact.

Purple is for royalty, blue is for loyalty. I used to give my Spartan armor these colors in HALO Reach and 4.

2:36. Aslan is literally Jesus, he might not call himself that, but they are very much one and the same

"Where's everyone going, bingo?" - Leon Kennedy

5:40 whether or not teachers rolled out TVs to watch tragedies depended on what tragedies you were in school for and the technology available to your school at the time. On 9/11 I was in college, but for many people in high school and elementary school, they did have TVs rolled out. For the Challenger, watching live TV in the classroom would have required more effort. But... a lot of schools set up TVs to watch the launch because a teacher was on the shuttle for the first time. So a lot of kids saw it live.

I was in 8th grade during the OJ Simpson verdict. A few of us who had a well timed free period listened live on a radio in the principal's office.

One only need look to medieval and renaissance paintings to see that people wore colors, even common folk. Sure, there were certain colors that were expensive, but clothing wasn't nearly as drab as movies tend to make them out to be.

5:17 Our school's principal and other office staff called every of our albeit small but probably 20ish classroom school to tell the teachers what happened and to turn on the TV hanging in the corner a few minutes just before my school of 500 kids got to watch plane 2 hit in real time.

I remember it specifically because I remember our substitute teacher had stolen a joke I made and got an actual laugh (I was the annoying kid who tried too hard to be liked) standing there wide eyed and with a hand over his mouth saying "oh my goodddddd..." completely lost on what to say or do.

Opening with a diss on Miami, starting strong.

There were a lot of inaccuracies in the dye one, but I really came here to say,  January 28, 1986 in Mr. Clardy's science class at Georgetown Jr.High, I absolutely watched the Challenger blow up as it happened, as the first teacher was going to space. Even earlier when  Reagan was shot, they brought in the TV to show us. I was in 4th grade, 1981.

5:30 French 1, our teacher already had a tv to watch a video, one of the other language teachers came in and told her to put on the news, entire class saw the live feed of the second plane.

You know its a good video when its this guys voice

I’m sorry… no comedic elements in resident evil? Where’s everyone going? Bingo?”

6:05  Wait...  Cool Cat is still around?  I thought YMS slayed that dragon years ago.
