She is Chiaki Kuriyama, a famous Japanese actress. She was 18 years old at the time of filming Kill Bill. She said she had a lot of fun making the movie.

The weapon Gogo uses is a Meteor Hammer. It's the perfect countermeasure for a sword as clearly shown here. It's main drawback is it's extremely difficult to use as you have to keep it in constant motion, by whatever means necessary, to be affective. It's also unpredictable and can be just as dangerous for the wielder as the person it's being used against...the perfect weapon for someone insane like her.

In all fairness, Chiaki Kuriyama (Gogo Yubari) really nailed the whole fight scene despite being killed by Uma Thurman's character. She would really be a perfect Japanese female assassin or spy character in any action film.😍😄⛩️

So knowing what I know now I see how the bar scene with Gogo wearing pigtails was originally supposed to be Yuki before Quentin scrapped that plot line and merged all Yuki scenes into Gogo.
