It’s nice when legacy characters are actually respected

The actual amount of times John had the drop on here was insane….kinda feel like this was his teachable moment to her. But also seeing John not wanting this tells a lot about him too.

John in so many words-"You can't win."

I don't know about anyone else but I was SO disappointed when they didn't play his theme the second John Wick got off the train.

The amount of restraint John was showing with Eve came from a man who absolutely understood what she was going through. If he had been just a little too soft with her she definitely would have killed him. He respected Eve's abilities and motives and in the end it's understandable that he sided with her, regardless of the consequences to himself. John Wick only kills those who absolutely deserve it.

@5:15 When she hides behind the wall to reload notice how swiftly Wick closes in on her with a clear shot. If he wasn’t sympathetic towards her, the film would be over. That’s a rookie mistake. She didn’t plan for defending herself during the reload. Wick’s tactical intelligence and situational awareness is unprecedented. He is literally the APEX predator of his universe. Good movie.

He knew he could take her. She knew he could too. But she wasn't going to give up - she couldn't. So he did what he could for her and she also earned his respect because she wouldn't quit. Fun scene

John could’ve killed her multiple times. I love the fact he shows how he’s clearly classes above her, but understands her drive as well

What I love about this fight scene, is that she has been shown to be very capable, and even top, in her category of assassins. Then John Wick comes in, and just absolutely destroys her. None of her usual methods and tricks work. It's also a rare gem where we get to see how it is from someone else's perspective, to fight John Wick. This whole scene made me fall in love with this movie, and it was a just a few minutes of the film.
