Widening a gap in the front teeth for this show is WILD. Thats not hair, thats a permanent medical procedure. Next it's like " Get this face tattoo to help your career or you're eliminated"

Wearing a dress out of your comfort zone and having your hair completely chopped off are 2 completely different things Mr Jay.

Why they never give these girls either the right toner or a toner in general, when they go blonde, is beyond me. Florescent yellow is not it

Terra’s elimination was not only unfair, but very cruel. Hair doesn’t regrow easily. Poor Terra.

Terra and Chirs actually did a chat with Oliver Twixt and revealed that she (Terra) was crying because her hair FELL OUT. That long piece in the front was actually a weave track. Talking about "Your not embracing your makeover" Who wouldn't be upset!!!! 😒🙄

I feel for Terra, they damaged her hair, cut it off and then eliminated her on the same day.  I agree with her, I'd would have rather they not cut my hair off if they were going to eliminate me.

In season 2, a producer dropped a note with the candidates to win, it was Yoanna and April, when they eliminated April, Shandi and Mercedes knew they would lose.

That list was a producers dreams come true. Most of the girls were expecting something completely different, so they were already mentally prepared, just for them to arrive at the salon and come to the realization that they were played.

According to Chris's (Terra's sister) interview on Oliver Twixt, stylists had to cut Terra's hair because they permed and dyed her hair, which caused bald spots.

That elimination was so incredibly cruel, they where not even ready for it, this is such a bullying show.

The fact that they were fooled by that list shows how unhinged some of the past makeovers were lmaooo

"That's interesting because I remember a girl named DANIELLE"

Once you realize this isn’t a modeling show, but a sadistic social experiment, it all makes sense. Glad Mr Jay is on the outs with Tyrant! They deserved it!

i absolutely hate how often they chop the black girls hair. ik everyones hair grows back and slowly but with kinky/curly hair it takes twice as long to even look longer bc of shrinkage. it breaks my heart fr. TYRA HOW COULD YOUUUUU

That is absolutely insane that they recommend permanent dental work, and Tyra changed her mind because the gapped teeth look became more iconic

"what people do for you" is not really accurate. This is a "what people do to you" situation.

Jessica, I love your reviews because you state the obvious: no agency wants a model with a shocking look. They want raw models who can transform into shocking looks when necessary, depending on the job at hand. ANTP production does this on purpose: they choose 3 or 4 guinea pigs who they KNOW don't have much of a future in the competition (or who they don't want to have) to create drama. I feel sorry for the girls who are often violated for entertainment.

Chelsey’s teeth shaving was actually the worst “makeover,” because that’s permanent. Sara’s makeover was more of the “What the hell” makeover.

The fact that they changed their looks completely and expect them to accept it in a matter of seconds and then get berated if they don’t is ridiculous

Blonde eyebrows with dark hair looks too weird
