Annoying roommate came home and ate an entire pie is actually a wild scenario.

A whole ass pie by themselves thats made of basically just sugar. Thats impressive

There's something reassuring about a 4m+ sub cooking channel where the guy messes up at least 30% of his dishes somehow.

Dude, after eating the full pie, your roommate's glucose levels must look like a phone number

The impossible bacon pie literally says "crisply fried bacon" on the recipe lol

Giving the charcoal "pumpkin pie" a 9/10, while talking about caramelized parts etc to cope, reminded me of Gordon Ramsays grilled cheese failure.

putting the least amount of effort into the simplest recipe and not even bothering to buy chips just to piss everyone off is perfect future canoe

It kinda makes me uncomfortable seeing words "Lipton" and "Onion" on the same box.

13:27 I can’t believe you only half melted the cheese. It becomes the greatest queso dip in the world but YOU HAVE TO MELT IT

Lol this and the French onion dip were staples of my childhood. The two greatest chip dips on planet earth

You. You are the one person that everyone has a grudge against for eating the dead center of any dish. You've been nowhere near me my entire life but I now feel like you were the person that ate the center of the cake at my 8th birthday.

12:15 He actually tried many shampoos for dry scalps. After nothing worked, he decided it was time to meet with a medical professional. So, he went to the mayo clinic.

Burnt pumpkin pie made with scooped up table egg is peak futurecanoe

I grew up having Lipton onion soup mixed with sour cream to make the sour cream and onion dip and that stuff goes so damn hard. My grandma used to make the oven roasted potatoes with those soup packets, too, and those were some of my favorite. Can't believe you skipped them.

I'm Japanese, and I find it really interesting to see so many foods that I've never seen in Japan.
I always thought Lipton was a brand that only sold tea

as a european almost all of those recipes put me in a state of shock

My grandma used to make that fudge every year for Christmas.  She has alzheimers and was so sad last Christmas because she forgot some part of the recipe and it didn't turn out. This year we'll make it together.

Most people use 2 blocks of velveta per can of rotel as well as some milk and cooking it in a slow cooker too really make it creamy

I did not know Nestlé also provides recipes, that is so interesting. I thought their core business is killing infants and child slave labor.

The key to the rotel/velveeta dip is going in and out of the microwave to melt the cheese all of the way without burning. A minute in, stir, minute, stir, 30 seconds, stir, repeat until fully melted and smooth.

pedantic note: karo is not high fructose corn syrup, it’s just corn syrup. corn syrup is a syrup made up mostly of glucose, and hfcs is the same thing with half the glucose turned into fructose using dark magic, done in order to taste more like cane sugar. you can really tell, too, corn syrup is noticeably less sweet tasting than other sweeteners.
