COULD THIS BE THE POOR MAN'S STELLA?
This this video, we take a closer look at the Stradic family of reels. These reels are what I recommend as a minimum to people that are wanting to get serious with their fishing.

This family or reels are made in Malaysia with unadulterated Japanese technology and innovation, giving you reels that are bred elsewhere, but with the pedigree of their Japanese cousins. The performance of these reels can be summarized as smooth, strong, consistent and reliable, expectations you know and love from Shimano. The difference is the price tag. Even when these reels are considered to be mid end - their performance is nothing you would expect from someone who is punching from the middle weights.

intro 0:00 - 2:38
1K 2:39 - 7:24
Ci4 7:25 - 8:45
5K 8:46 - 14:38

Bottom line 19:10 - 22:57

Great reel kit , I have two pus 5 Saragossa and a twin power , then the ocea jiggers , also have penns , but that stradic 4000xg sw for casting lures and jigs is stunning

Difficult to get Stardic 1000 size from the market now, really enjoy having that. I have 4 units because of sentimental value i believe

Just FYI (from a teardown by an experienced indonesian reel service guy & teardown and comparison by Alan Hawk). A Stradic SW is basically a Saragosa SW apart from the 4k size. Only cosmetic little differences like knob type and colour. Plus the Saragosa has more sizes up to 25k. A Stradic SW 4k size is actually a Stradic 4k size with little differences like knob type and colour. Even the sealing is the same. Basically the Stradic SW line up is a Stradic 4k size + Saragosa SW (sizes 5k and up) with a different colour and knob type.

a while back i saw something about upgrading the bearings in a stradic to the stella bearings and having the 12 or 14 bearing the stella has.

I ultralight fish and love my Nasci FD 1000!

Thank you 👏👏👏 Stradic really does offer the best value for money today and will surprise those who don't know it.

The micromodule II and silent drive and infinity cross is only on 4000 thousand size right above5 k not included?

Great video, i agree with everything you said except the stadic sw, the stadic sw is the same reel as the spheros sw but 100$ more. So it is a terrible value....

I use Stradic 3000ci4 for light shore jigging. Also use C5000xg but feels way too big (and fast) for jigs <60g

have to find that stradic SW and Abu garcia Rod clip

I remembered I caught a 5kg golden trevaly w/ 10lb leader line with my 1000hg stradic. I don’t know if it’s the rod or the reel that handles the fight but one thing for sure this reel is built like a tank and definitely a bang for the buck.

There a two families in shimano lineup - magnumlite and coresolid. UL and light - mag-light and tough fishing coresolid. Stradic is awsome, ultegra 2025 c5000xg with infinity drive, xprotect and carbon drag etc - awsome for its price, Miravel flows when touched - superb, and many others like Nasci 2025. Tech wise you need to pay a bit more for a daiwa with the same tech but they do build them with better and tighter tolerances. I think stradic is good for those who have more experience, For UL just buy Miravel 1000 or 2000, for tougher fishing get the new Nasci 5000 2025 or Ultegra 2025 5000 because it has warmshaft etc, it's a vanford in the interior. 5000 has all the tech and power you need for big pikes or even stronger fishes.

I very like my 19 Stradic C3000HG, I remenber when I got it the first trip I use I caught a 9KG GT with a PE 2 braid line setup, it is not meant catch this class of big fish but to my surprise this compact reel hold up very well~
I'm planning upgrade to the 24 stradic SW 6000XG for my rock shore casting setup, I was going to get the 25 twinpower SW but after look to the stradic SW I decided to get the stradic SW, for the price & performace you just can't beat it, plus I can save some money and buy a spool of good quality braid line.
