They pretty much blew the minds of all musicians back then and today. The Beatles were super inspired and challenged by them. Brian Wilson is a genius.

Love this band. Their harmonizing is incredible!

The girl dribbling the ball at the start of the video is Marilyn Wilson, Brian's wife.  She is the mother of Carnie and Wendy Wilson who you know from Wilson Phillips.

Considered one of the greatest most innovative American Rock bands of all time 😮,  they made me want to leave the Midwest to California, in 1976 l made the leap to San Diego, California and 50 year's later 2026 l'm still loving California and the Beach Boys,⛱️ "Surfin' Safari", "Surfin' USA", "California Girls" plus Motown left Detroit for L.A. so l had to follow, Peace ✌️😕 Gary from San Diego, California 🌴🏄‍♂️🌊🦭🏄‍♂️🌊🐬🌴 Great Reaction👍

Dope how you both listen to all kinds of music

One of the best psychedelic songs of 1966. It cost between $50,000 and $75,000 to produce which was a lot back then. It was well worth it reaching No.1 in the U.S. and the U.K.
P.S....Maybe I just keep on missing you guys but SO GOOD TO SEE YOU!!

That weird instrument is a theremin.
I love your reaction!

More Beach boys please it's summertime!!!

We had the best music. No one was angry back then like they are today.

What a great song

Love you Shawn & Mel ♥  Love your Good Vibrations ♪♪♫

🌸 love you both 🩵

You should do
"God Only Knows"
"Wouldn't it be nice"
"Surfin' USA"
"California Girls"
"Kokomo (from the soundtrack of Cocktail. A movie Tom Cruise made when he was a bartender)
The Beach Boys were one of the first bands to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in the late 80s. Also,  Jon Stamos (Uncle Jesse from Full House) was their conga player for "Kokomo".

You watched the video and didn't pay attention to the song.  That's a shame. It's about talking to someone you're attracted to and being outside having fun.  Way before cell phones taking up all your time.  And there were many layers of fantastic harmonies that you completely missed.  This song is rated very high in song history.

AMEN 🙏 ;~ did you know SHAWN&MEL that Glen Campbell I believe he’s he’s first first cousin to my love and he also played with The Beach Boys in the beginning and he helped them write some of their big hit songs that I am your newest member NUBBIN and please continue to go down the rabbit hole cause you will not go wrong with the beach boys whatsoever AMEN 🙏

Unfortunately, the video doesn't rise to the level of quality that this classic song deserves.

🔥🔥🔥

Production:  par excellence 👍🏻🎶🇦🇺

You all give great vibrations. Have always appreciated your positivity. Though I'm a bit envious at how you stay so handsome and beautiful over the years. Just stop already 😂 Much love

🌸 that was a cool looking fire truck
