Thanks for the video! I was looking for a sneaker suited for light winter and rain conditions and this one seemed like a good fit based on you description. Tried the non-GTX version in-store today and it felt really comfortable, went ahead and ordered these online. đ Initially my go-to would have been the Ultraboost 5.0 GTX since I love the Ultraboost 1.0 for casual wear, but that didn't fit me at all sadly, no matter if I went TTS or even 1.5 sizes up... Weird how different some of the Ultraboost models are with the width, length and ankle support!
Hi, thanks for the video, I ordered both Gtex and regular today. Hope they work out, felt good in store. Replacing all my 412v3 runners. Research and store tryout. They are very different. Way more foam. I stood up off a bench and fell backwards to sitting position. "My Personal trainer Wife".. ohh that might be good for you! With laughing... Wow they are weighed mid/ forward. Will take adjustment, as I heal stomp. Hit the trails, down the road again....
All the comments relate to the midsole being duel density. I have this same version of the high top which I really like the comfort of the midsole, but no where on the high top does it say that the midsole is duel density. Does anybody know if the high top has the exact same midsole as the low? I wanna buy the low but not sure if itâs exactly the same.
After wearing out my Hierro v7 Gore-tex, I'm excited to upgrade to this model! I live in a part of Canada that is very cold in the winter and hot in the summer and wear these year round for walking. I personally don't find Gore-tex too hot in the summer and my toes are always comfortable in the winter, even when it's -30 c to -40 c. I do wear merino wool socks of varying thickness year round, so that likely helps with temp regulation. I found the v7s to be great in snow/packed snow. We have a vicious freeze/thaw/freeze cycle where I live with occasional freezing rain, which means that sidewalks and roads are often sheer ice for most of the winter. Nothing is great on sheer ice, not even pull-on ice spikes, but I found the v7s to perform better than average for shoes not specifically designed for winter. I'm hoping the v9s perform just as well.
