I love these sneakers. Besides being a really comfortable, sturdy sneaker, they look great. They check so many boxes for me. Soft, sturdy, aesthetic, toe protection, proper weight, good heel drop.

One key difference for my feet between the Gore-Tex and non-Gore-Tex versions of the Hierro V8 was in the "Toe Protect" material – they both only covered the big toe, but on the non-Gore-Tex model it was a very rigid material – which felt like wearing steel-toed boots over that area, which makes my toes *throb*; the Gore-Tex model, OTOH, had a much more pliable material, and while I could still feel the material pressing against my big toe, it didn't bother me nearly as much.

Now that they've expanded "Toe Protect" to cover the entire front of the shoe, I shudder to think of how my toes will object to this change; I can only hope that they inherited the softer, more forgiving material of the GTX V8.

Please do a review on the Nike Reactx Rejuven 8’s 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Oh man would’ve preferred these black ones. I already got the black and white ones and the black on them seem like a dark gray

Lugs on the 7s better than the little Pegs on the 8s that soon wear out, glad NB picked up on this and put a similar version back, great review as always, clear and concise, NB not BS!!

Best sneaker reviewer on YT by far. Plan on using your link to buy the Juniper 4E, I love shades of green and yellow. However, why print "Toe Protect", its so cheesy, of course it protects your piggies but can you imagine printing the function of all the shoe parts, too much, reminds me of G Shock! Okay, rant over, buying sneakers with Toe Protect on them :-)

New one looks better.But the reebok nanozig 2.5 does it better and hides the foam wrinkles.

Would they work ok on snow and slippery conditions 🤷✌️🙏🇨🇦

Hi

Thanks for the review.

Would you recommend this shoes for all day walking and standing??

@michaelklein23 1 year ago

Also I don’t need reviews on the following shoes but I’d love to hear your take on them:

Saucony endorphin elite 2
Mizuno neo zen
Hoka cielo x1 2.0
Adidas adizero adios pro 4

They’re all runners and 3 of 4 of them are considered racing shoes. I think you’ll like the neo zen. Always thank you for your reviews, you’ve put me on the balos and have put me on a fitness journey that I’ve put off for so long and new comfortable running shoes provide much needed motivation
