This channel deserves a knighthood for its excellent  services in the field of YouTube entertainment. Big thank you

I was in the studio watching on the day this was recorded. BBC Television centre. Studio one I think. I was in the building for a small part in a schools programme. After that was done I took myself off on a private tour of the building. I was a quiet unobtrusive kid. I found a seat near a monitor in a quiet spot so I wouldn't get in the way , and nobody bothered me at all. Watching them all work seeing how it was done was fascinating. I remember watching it when broadcast a couple of weeks later with the rest of the family. Play of the month, I think, on a Sunday evening.....mum was a big fan of Eric Porter because of 'The Forsyte Saga'.....lovely memory. Thanks for uploading.

What a treat for people like me who adore Geraldine McEwan. Two for the price of one.

There’s only one word that describes how my evening went by watching this delightful show… Absolutely wonderful from start to finish…the acting, the setting. Thank you!

I’m one of your quiet subscribers, but I couldn’t forget to thank you in particular for this upload. Thank you! I adore Geraldine ❤

Geraldine McEwan looks like a doll I loved acting

Thank you so much for posting this. Your channel is the best thing on YouTobe.

Immediately put this on my TV.  Adore Geraldine.  She was Lucia brought to life, with darling Prunella.

Superb actors and actresses. Rattigans play is a classic depicting desperate loneliness, repression, relationships, social deception and  cynicism.

Thanks Alan for uploading this great Terence Rattigan TV play. Eric Porter is always worth watching & Geraldine McEwan captivating as usual.

Geraldine is a marvel.  The way she checks herself in the mirror after he reveals how controlled he was by her w/holding.  I love her!

Ooh, this is going to be a good one! Thank you so much for such a treat.

Eric Porter remember watching him in The Forsyte Saga, that wasn't yesterday. Love Geraldine McEwan too. They don't make them like this anymore.

Amazing to see how Geraldine McEwan can transform herself.!

While I love the movie with Dave Niven, Wendy Hiller, Burt Lancaster. This one here is a little beauty that I never knew existed till now. You can't go wrong with anything Terrence Rattigan.
Thanks Forgotten British Telly.

All of Terence Tattigans plays are so superb, they’re so nuanced and touching.. we need more theatre on television

What a treat, lovely play with wonderful actors, we don't see anything like this on TV today, thanks for showing

Chaque fois que je vois Eric Porter, je pense à Soames. Merci pour ce moment de plaisir.

Wonderful tale of redemption！ Thank you so much

This is remarkably timeless drama, so well executed, so beautifully performed.
