I've loved Judy Parfitt for a long time and this is a charming story. We live in such very dark times now that these gems from the past mean a great deal.

Loved every moment. A charming film. Just the pill in these ugly times.  Thank you so much.

Nigel Havers was in a London play called Art.  It was sold out so I forgot about  it but happened to be walking by the theatre right before curtain.  I think it was Covent Garden area, place was  crowded.  I spotted a slightly built man (I'm tall) weaving his way amongst the pedestrians, wearing a navy wool peacoat with the collar pulled up.  It was Nigel and no one else seemed to notice as he slipped into the theatre.

Handsome Nigel Havers so charming, a younger June Mantle ( Mrs Warboys  one foot in the grave) Michael Aldridge, I was almost expecting him to say " the thin edge of the wedge"  Ursula Howells, an elegant presence always. We are reminded of the days when cruises were luxurious and exclusive. Many thanks.

Nigel Havers is a charmer both on-screen and off-screen.

A Most enjoyable  play, all the actors were splendid.

I can never watch Nigel Havers in anything without thinking of Grace and Favour, when Mavis tells Mr. Humphries he talks lovely, "Just like Nigel Havers!"

British stories are always so wonderful.

A wonderful cast including Judy Parfitt, Helen Horton & Ursula Howells.

Every stereotype covered!  Gives us a great chance to both laugh, chuckle and giggle, but also to study ourselves in different moments!😂Great film, thx!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Wonderful cast, brilliant acting, beautiful clothes, touching story.

😂Wonderful escapist movie superb cast great acting

That was perfect with a surprising ending. Who could refuse Nigel Havers in reality?

Only Lauren Bacall could have outdone Judy Parfitt in this role. And no one could out-charm Nigel Havers.

Thoroughly enjoyed this light fare and I agree with an earlier comment: a treat in these ugly and gross times!!! Good show!

A wonderful antidote to our slackened times. Nigel Havers never disappoints and Judy Parfitt (and her magnificent head of hair) is something to behold.

Sister Monica Joan as we've NEVER seen her before!! ❤

Sweet, light and frothy ....with just the right amount of angostura bitters.

Lovely hrartwarming gem of a film. Beautifully dressed actresses and a,wonderful script. Thank you for posting on YT.

Love Nigel Havers.
