No Suspect Fled Caleb Flynn’s House After Shooting: Officer

Deputy David Laycox discussed using a K-9 to help search for a possible burglary suspect at the home of Caleb and Ashley Flynn. Caleb told authorities that on February 16, 2026, a suspect broke into their home and fatally shot his wife. Deputy Laycox concluded that there was a negative alert indicating that a suspect had fled the scene of the crime.

It just seems like his 2 dogs would have barked loudly when the intruder broke open the door and moved the refrigerator. Seems like that would have woken up the killer - er, I mean her husband.

I'll be very interested in Ashley's mom,family/ friends testimony on WHAT she told them about Caleb,her suspicions,her marriage ect.
If she knew or there was trouble in the marriage bc he was dogging another female she most likely told those close to her about these concerns!
Their lead pastor will be testifying for the state!

I wonder if they looked inside stuffed animals and such as that for a weapon? He wasn’t in a rush seemingly, and could have sown it back. I mean if no one came and no one left, it’s possible. It wouldn’t take a minute to see it up. Or maybe inside a tv or something. How well do they really look?🤷‍♀️
