Minnesota Twins Hall-of-Famer Harmon Killebrew had originally been part of the first Film Festival that aired on November 30, 1985, but he and his film were bumped due to the show running long. So Late Night devoted an entire show to him two-and-a-half months later on February 11, 1986.
In addition to showing his film (along with some outtakes), on the show to salute him in a "This Is Your Life" homage were: Bob Allison, Harmon's best friend and former Twins roommate; Jim Kaat, another teammate, sitting in the audience; Liberace, for reasons unknown; Charlie Pride, who sang "Mountain of Love" over the phone; and artist LeRoy Neiman, who spent the hour painting a life-size portrait of Harmon and Dave.
With Brian McAloon as a young Harmon Killebrew and Edd Hall providing the voice-over.
