Hey guys! If you want to watch another tale of Dad and 90s SEGA, definitely check out the "32X Birthday Surprise of 1995" episode I recently dropped: https://youtu.be/6QDfQUZHPEo Appreciate you all. Have a great week!

My dad just died recently due to heart attack. Still remember the days he would sneak up during midnight in the 90s for a quick game of bomber man. 😢

Your dad would be so proud that you were able to make a successful YT channel out of all the old home movies he meticulously recorded. I had many of these same exact moments with my dad as well but you’re so lucky to have them preserved like this for all time. What I wouldn’t give for that, to be able to relive those moments again..

So glad i was born in the 80's and was able to go through all the gaming generations, ! What a ride it was !

Never seen so much casual footage from 1995 before. It’s like your dad had an iPhone 10 years early,

I was born in 1984 and the things I got to experience as a kid were absolutely magical. Everyone’s family had money, a house, things were laid back, the games were amazing. It was a great time to be alive.

I'll never forget the 90s best decade to grow up, now look at us

I’m smiling so huge right now because I was born May 11th 1972. May 11th 1995 was a difficult time for me and my girlfriend then and I never knew the Saturn had released on my Birthday then. It wouldn’t be until 2 years later when I could afford a Saturn. I loved it and still do. It was the hardest system for me to ever acquire and I have so many emotions right now it’s hard to explain but yeah I was a Sega guy then. Great Video on my Birthday my friend, best gift.

Jeff is a LEGENDARY EB/GameStop manager (still is to this day!).  So awesome that he called your Dad to let him know!!!

Your dad was a YouTuber before YouTube was invented man!

My dad wasn't a film maker, he was a lawyer.  I remember he came into my room when one of the cut scenes from street fighter 2 was playing on my playstation.  He looked at me with distain, I was about 18 years old.  He said, "you're not interested in this are you?"  I looked at him, looked at Ken doing roundhouse kicks, looked back at my dad, and I just shrugged my shoulders.  I still play street fighter today in my mid forties.

I joined the Marines straight after High School Summer of 1996, during boot camp I remember thinking "I'm getting a Sega Saturn once this is over". I treated myself to a shiny new Sega Saturn once I came home for my 10 days leave before reporting to Combat Training. Got the one Bundled with Sega Rally, a copy of Street Fighter Alpha, and Need For Speed.

Blew my mind away! After Combat Training came home and was lucky enough to get Recruiter Assistance and was home mid November 96 to early January 1997! Picked up Virtua Fighter 2, NHL All Stars, and Dayton Usa.Wasn't cheap for the time either. The Saturn was 399.99 and the games were 49.99 to 59.99. Luckily I was a Young Marine with no responsibility who didn't Drink or spend his money on wild women!!!😀 Semper Fi

The Saturn will always remind me of my transformation from a civilian, to United States Marine and all the fun times with my brothers in the barracks playing the Saturn.

Jeff is actually a relative on my dad's side of the family, I only met him once when he flew down to Sydney a long time ago but he was super cool and he let me play with his Nokia N Gage haha. Small world, but it's awesome that he knew your dad!

I lost my mum almost two years ago.She liked video games, she loved Spyro, and ratchet and clank.

Sega Saturn was awesome. Nights into dreams, command and conquer tomb raider. Classics

Ok, now I can confirm I met your dad and you at Electronics Boutique more than once on game releases. I graduated HS in 97'. These videos are bringing back all sorts of memories brother, thanks. I live just south of Sugarland still to this day.

They need to make a Sega Saturn compilation game. Tons of forgotten gems trapped on older hardware.

Man, your dad was so cool. And he documented all of it to live forever. Much love my dude

New console launches were genuinely exciting in the late 80s through the 90s.  That was definitely a special era to grow up in.

10:02 - your dad is an absolute G.
