Your old man is an absolute legend.

I like how often your dad turned collecting something into a moment for the two of you to share

It wasn't the console that made him the happiest. It was sharing the experience with his son.

R.I.P to your father

Man you're a good kid. Your dad found his holy Grail and you gave him exactly the reaction he was looking for. You were a teenager. You could have been deadpan, rolled your eyes, said something sarcastic, but you made that moment for your dad.

This guy is a hell of a dad..

I know as a father it was never about the master system it was always about his son

This shit made me cry! The good old days!

I don't know if you'll see this but i think this channel is excellent. Every video is a deeply thoughtful tribute to a good man. He cherished and documented your youth by embracing and growing with technology and media and in return he is immortalized through every story you tell about him. Its very full circle and wholesome.

Your dad reminds me of me with my children…You must not only been his son but also his best friend in whole world. He lived through you

I feel so sad that your father will never know how much of a LEGEND he would be come to hundreds of thousands of people. I'd do ANYTHING to hear dads perspective on these beautiful memories. Tyler, believe it or not, your videos are helping shape the way I parent my son. God gless your family and my prayers to your family. ❤️

That green volume bar brought me back

“The tree, Tyler.”

Watching 2 best friends who happen to be father and son is beautiful

Holy hell, that's one hell of a find, especially with how rare it was becoming even in those days.

Dad:*ITS NEVER BEEN TOUCHED TYLER!!*

Christmas 2000 is probably the most magical Christmas of my life as well. I was dirt poor my whole childhood until my mom married my stepdad. That was our 1st Christmas together. He asked me what I wanted and I was so trained to not asking for much since we were poor, but he knew I wanted a Sega Dreamcast, but it was a new console. I never dreamed of asking for a new video game console.

Christmas Eve rolls around. He was too excited to wait. He gave me my Dreamcast. The 1st new console I’d ever owned. I got it with NFL 2k and NBA 2k.

Still to this day the best Christmas of my life!

You have the best dad in the world

Your Dad was possibly the best Dad ever mate. Seasons greetings from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
