This series is ALWAYS an immediate watch for me. Hell yeah, welcome back brother

Glad you are doing well. I was a friend of your dad’s. He’d be proud of you. RIP

A real retro channel , not some fleamarket whatnot inventory stream or a pokemon store acting like a retro shop. A REAL DEAL CHANNEL FOR RETRO GAMERS

this series is honestly so good i could picture it being on TV

Man, i love all the cinematic shots of the consoles, listings, everything to the minute details. Your work is awesome dude! I keep enjoying the journey so far, so thanks mate!! Greetings from Argentina!

I got worried after episode 9 that the journey might have been over. Really glad you managed to rebound in this one. This is one of the best retro gaming series on YouTube. It's obvious how much you care about the games, and that you're not just trying to make money. Super cool, and inspiring!

The amount of care you put into everything is why i love this channel and your collection journey.  Episode 10 was a banger!

loving the MASSIVE upgrade in production quality for this video. i also really appreciate how when you test consoles and games, you don't just do a barebones test but you actually play through a significant portion of the game to make absolute 100% sure that it works before selling it. i can tell you have genuinely good morals when it comes to this and the LAST thing you would EVER want to do is to accidentally rip someone off.

This was exactly what I needed on a Monday evening

No way I just finished the entire series yesterday. LFG!

You can tell from the Immediate responses this series means A Lot more to people than you realize. Even people who are not retro collectors like myself!! Keep On Swimming!😀

For the next ps2 like the beginning, you didnt need to replace the laser, that white dial needs to be turned so the hole/marking lines up. Love the channel and seeing these consoles get fixed

This is such a cozy feel good series to watch. Love your calm and grounden style. Keep it up and greetings from Sweden!

With the whole physical media issue with Sony it’s refreshing seeing this

Generally, when you triage, you want to change a single factor at a time. You won't know if it was the dry lube or a bad laser with the PS2, because you addressed both of them before testing again. You might still have a good laser module with the one you took out.

Great vid!

Watching busted PS2s give the collection a second life is weirdly satisfying.

Favourite series on YouTube right now. Enjoying the stuff on your other channel very much aswell. Keep it up :)

Save those hunting games too! They are some good titles imo

Man I subscribed a while ago but still wanna say this is so fire. PS2 Slim is my childhood console and also probably my favorite. I’ve had to replace my laser as well, so it’s cool to see you doing all that. Also your camera work is slick.

I love this series. Just down to earth reasonable collecting. I see some people dropping ludicrous amounts of money on game collections and I don't really find it interesting. This is great because you are turning it in a hobby and essentially a little game to keep your budget low by learning to fix various things to resell.
