I've been doing this a while by just pissing around. Something to add to this, Alt click when saving a preset and save it as a Profile. That way you can adjust the HSL even further, since it's still technically a colour image not BW.   also, you would just have to add the clarity after but it's better that way since u can just add it on a mask

It really works and straight to the point. Kudos!

yes... the name of that preset is 100% accurate. I thought I would never nail the art of black&white editing. But with this... WOW. I guess I won't why away again if someone wants shots in b&w. Thanks so much for this!

One of the most informative videos I've seen on YouTube so far. Quick and dirty, the facts followed by instructions for different scenarios. I can only say thank you for that.

Been watching so many B&W videos of late and who knew that the one that got me super excited and blown away was from 3 years ago!  Love the way you presented the lesson: short & sweet with incredible examples! Thank you! 🖤🩶🤍

I was about to start posting some black and white portraits tomorrow, did a re-edit and they look so much cleaner thanks to your instructions. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for this great lesson!
Bravo from Montréal,  Canada! 📸❤️👍

This has made a big difference to the way I process my images.

I'll use this next time I do a b/w edit
