No one has mentioned it yet but the gregorian chant is Dies Irae which is a funerary hymn about the Last Judgement. It directly translates to "Day of Wrath"

BTW Scru the orange/pink long haired guy is Steven He, AKA the "emotional damage" guy

The line you couldn’t quite hear was “your obsession, feeds our connection, so come and give me all your attention”

DannyPhantom and his friends made this in like a week. Choreo, filming, all of that. They cooked. He has a 2 part VLOG on his channel for this.

The interesting thing is that he’s right it is about toxic Stan culture, but it’s also that because they are the bad guys, they are intentionally cultivating it. They want them to be toxically obsessed with them so they can steal their souls away

And to think. This gem of a video would have NEVER been made if danny hadn't decided to dye his hair black.

Context: danny dyed his hair black and everyone said he looked like jinu from kpop demon hunters. HE NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW UNTIL THEN. Then he and his friends got together and made this.

The music production is SICK on this full version.

my indigenous ass cant help but look at the song as a subversion of the colonizer's own tools of oppression being turned against them in poetic revenge

I think there's always a strong significance when you change up lyrics in the chorus. The lyrics in the first two renditions of the chorus are "you know that I'm here to save you" whereas the last chorus says "no one is coming to save you" as if to say, "We don't have to pretend anymore because even if you know the truth, you're stuck with us"

7:17 The line "Your obsession feeds our connection"... which yeah, still fits with the theme of encouraging toxic standom.

0:32 The way my niche groups are colliding is crazy. Scary wstching a video made by Danny Phantom who was just at the bbno$ 151 Pokémon shoot with Danny Motta all in the same week. What a cross over.

Seeing DannyPhantomexe here is...a pleasant surprise.

Scru!! You should record your first reaction to the full movie when you watch it. It's a rare phenomenon. My 4 year old daughter has made me watch it almost every day since it came out and nobody in the house is sick of it. 10/10

I love that they didn't do the exact same moves from the movie cuz
1) Some people would criticise that it doesn't look EXACTLY like the Saja Boys' movements and
2) Just gives it it's own identity! Love it

The end credit is even more funnier when you seen the movie because a lot of the references are there.

Please do Free next. It sets a great deep message like Golden but with more emotion

fun fact, the lady who handled the costumes, Miss Lala is also an online personality

i like the religious words too, they all have double meanings- sanctuary, sins, preaching to the choir, star you rely on (the star that led the wise men to jesus), idol, making you a believer

The only 2 songs you have left from this movie are "Free" and "What It Sounds Like". I suggest you watch a plain background lyric video for "What It Sounds Like" cause most video include MAJOR spoilers for those who haven't seen the movie.
