I got tired of him being EVERYWHERE. He was Pedro Pascal before Pedro Pascal was Pedro Pascal.

You missed that fans really turned on him and Oprah, when they did their Maui fire appeal. Two multi-millionaires who could have handed over the amount as small change, asking ordinary people to fund an appeal to help victims of the fire.

Having a contractural obligation to win every fight in every movie he plays a hero in is Steven Seagal-level egocentricity.

Don't forget that Danny Trejo is basicly the anti-Rock because he has it in his contracts that if he plays a villain, his character must die by the end of the movie to show that crime doesn't pay ...

Statham just plays Statham in every movie but he never seems arrogant, has a great niche and does it well. Love a Statham movie.

The fact he has in his contract he specifically has a rule where he "can't lose a fight" unless under very specific conditions tells you everything you need to know

At that age he is absolutely massive. Nobody really cares if he takes steroids in that line of work. But if you keep saying you're natural while you're actually evolving from the rock to the mountain, that's when people start bashing. Rightfully so

When I was a kid, I remember watching a lot of cartoons that warned us not to worship celebrities, especially movie stars. They tried to tell us that they were all entitled assholes behind the scenes, and damn... they hit the nail on the head.
