pin this or they're straight

viktor: a decade? bitch i'm dying i got 5 months tops

Jayce's "No one in my life ever expected much of me" must have fucking hurt Viktor like he literally saved him from suicide

I love how all the fandom is extremely protective of Viktor.
He deserves it.

Before arcane
Viktor: JOIN  THE GLORIOUS EVOLUTION
Me: yeah yeah stfu robot boy
After arcane
VIKTOR: JOIN THE GLORIOUS EVOLUTION
Me: yes my king

I love how before Arcane Viktor was one of most forgotten champions and now everybody love him

I love what Riot did with Viktor and Jayce, because it basically foreshadows the relationship between Piltover and Zaun. Jayce (who is the representation of Piltover) lives a prosper, fulfilling, political life and Viktor (who is the representation of Zaun) lives a difficult, frustrating, sad, on the verge of death kind of life, while being overshadowed by Jayce (Piltover) when it comes to progress, although without Viktor (Zaun), Jayce would have never discovered the powers of the Hex crystals and he would have suicided.

Looks like Jayce really lost his viktory

It's cute how that assistant lady OBVIOUSLY has a thing for Viktor.

reject Jayce simp
Join the Glorious Evolution

Jayce really fits the bi stereotype of either dating a beautiful woman or a man who looks like he on the verge of death (in this case Viktor IS on the verge of death)

Viktor's ultimate fate was teased so much with that prototype death ray he showed heimerdinger. All he needs to do is say "glorious evolution" and we got ourselves the machine herald

I understood the symbolism they were going for, but it was still so JARRING to see the Jayce/Mel sex scenes alternating with the scenes of Viktor coughing up blood and collapsing. I had to look away from my screen a couple of times...it's hard seeing Viktor like this, while Jayce is living his best life.

Jayce: No one in my life ever expected very much of me.

Narrator: And on the left corner, we have Viktor throwing his cane against the wall and agressively punching the air.

I love how this show has depicted the ignorance that comes with privilege, not even of malice but simply because these characters have never had to consider anything outside of their lives of comfort

I wasn't expecting it, but Viktor really stole my heart.

Viktor literally best boy eye-

his and Jayce's relationship was actually so different in the original lore that the relationship they got now scares me cause ik Viktor's character lore ,in game, or in the shows future is 😬

I love how the most toxic fandom comes together to support a gay jungler and her cupcake marksmen girlfriend and hating on Jayce for "cheating" on Viktor.

The choice of parallelism between the scene where Viktor falls apart and Jayce is very well chosen. A lot can be learned from it. They obviously did it on purpose to compare two completely different scenes to be shocking.
We can think that Jayce has fully chosen to be a council rather than being a man of discovery, he is now a symbol more than anything else. The previous scenes with Jayce show that he chose to lie and be in politics rather than being fair, at odds with what he was before and Viktor's beliefs. He chose Mel over Viktor.
We can say that Viktor is killing himself by working representing the people of the undercity. While Jayce is running smoothly representing the people of Piltover. The cup placed in Viktor's place before the speech, crushing him, is a good representation of what is happening. Everything is a game of the most "deserving". Viktor is almost always relegated as an assistant, is nothing else even though Jayce gives him a more important role in his eyes.
Jayce also chose to "protect" Piltover rather than helping the people of the undercity which Hextech was supposed to serve.
All this will reinforce the feeling of rejection for Viktor.

I would have more things to say as a student in animation. But a lot of shots can say a LOT of things just in a simple character position, camera position etc.

this aged so badly

edit: THIS AGED LIKE A FINE WINE
