What's even more insane is the fact that both Viktor and mel are mages, Viktor being the arcane runes mage and mel being the golden light of preservation mage. Jace is simply surrounded by 2 insanely strong mages😅

Actually kinda hurt when he said near the end of season 2 that she just manipulated him to get to hextech. I guess it started out that way, but there was obviously something more and I’m glad he realized that in the end.

LITERALLY the moments where Jayce just COMPLETELY melts into her arms? Showing how vulnerable he is to her? Allowing himself to shower her with his love language? GOD. Jayvik shippers are eating good but Mel didn't even get the closure to know what happened to Jayce, and let him hold her one last time ☹️

Look, I’m not NOT a jayvik shipper, I see what’s going on with them and I understand they have a deeper connection than just partners. But, I think it’s a little cray how some jayvik truthers will completely disregard the OBVIOUS connection, attraction, and dare I freaking say love between these two.

This beautiful queen goddess facing hatred is the most ridiculous thing. Mel is a threat, she’s pretty, smart, and powerful. That’s where the hate is coming from. They know they’ll kneel if she asks them to. I would.

They are so so cute. Mel and Ekko are two of my favorite characters, and they definitely got the shortest straws when it comes to the finale

Fans can happily ship whoever they want but, the creators themselves said Jayvik is a brotherhood. We all knew Mel was molding Jayce into who she wanted, but you cant ignore that she had her own character development and genuinely seemed to care for him.  I hope to see more of Meljay's relationship develop if another season comes around.

I'm neither a Jayvik nor Meljay shipper, but we need more of this. People can enjoy whatever ship, but the widespread uncharitable takes on Mel just because she's "in the way" of Jayvik and the belittling of her CANONICAL relationship with Jayce has gotten oooold. And misogynistic. And lowkey racist.

I don’t get why in a lot of big fandoms people don’t like just… ship both. or at least like one and respect the other one, really these are fictional characters man you do whatever you want

they just dont like slow burn love like we do, I love this and Jinx x Ekko. Mel likes Jayce because of what he can accomplish until it slowly turns into love by the time they get to know each other which also includes her acknowledging Jayce's friendship with Viktor. It's even visible she cares for Jayce when Ambessa arrived. She used him, but at least she wasn't like her mom who likes war. Plus the situation demands Jayce to be on politics while she helps him out on his decisions. It does made Viktor felt out of place, but that's only because he wasn't much on the Piltover side.  I could be wrong, I just wanna talk. I used to dislike Mel and Jayce until I saw they have more scenes together and even analyzing the season 1 scenes they have.
