Yeah original by nene at 13 years old for the overdrive guitar competition were she came runner up.😅nick Murray helped arranging the backing track but nene composed and played all the guitar parts herself. Not bad for 13 yeah😅

Welcome to the Nene rabbit hole, you're gonna fall in love.! ❤

Guitar was her first love. She was 13 when she started writing this she learned to play then you will notice a shift about 14-15 to learn vocals. She has worked feverishly towards one goal. We just seen that happen on agt.
Love this little girl ❤❤

"It's recommended that new viewers watch no more than 2 Nene videos a day, or they might get addicted."

That is also a Paul Gilbert signature model Ibanez... She has all of the GOAT influences of the 60's to early 2000's. Most before her birth!

It's impossible not to be excited about what this girl is doing. Such an incredible talent.

I'm as late to the party as you are. Found out about Nene about a week ago through The Warning. But in the last few days I've been binge watching her videos on YouTube. What a great talent! And I love that (what seems to be) her first composition is an instrumental piece. Can't help thinking of Asterism who for a long time only did instrumentals, until Hal-ca took up singing too. I'm now eagerly waiting for Nene's EP to be released! I'll definitely get myself a physical copy of it.

She sat down after school every day and practiced for 8-9 yrs up to 5 hrs an played 100 to 130 shows a year for 4-5years to get here. She worked so hard and absolutely deserves every good thing to come her way. Love this little girl ❤

On her channel she has many, many, many short videos of her improvising in different keys. She practices a lot.

She definitely has compositional skills. I'd love to see her try full songwriting with lyrics and all. I was suggesting in other comments that I'd like to see her take a 2 week songwriting vacation with the ladies from The Warning!

This video received a large number of Super Chats.

This video was her entrance to a national guitar competition wherr competitors needed to compose their own instrumental song and play it to enter. She did this video when.she was 14, but uploaded it later after the competution ended.
Btw, I'd like to see your jaw drop when reacting to one of Nene's video, titled "@Home Practising, Nene 10 y.o."

Tuners are normal for that model. I prefer them that way, so much easier on the left wrist when tuning....

Nene's Through the Fire and Flames playthrough at 10 years old is mind-blowing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zunm1YIdYnY&list=RDzunm1YIdYnY&start_radio=1

She also plays piano, drums, and bass. You need to see her studio version of Lonely, but the live version sounds about the same. Married To The Blues when she was 13, or Red Stairway Musical at The Power Band 2025. You will see how insanely good Nene and Ozone are.

Nene Royal, She just 16 astonishing technical speed, which has been clocked at over 9 to 10 notes per second during her rapid guitar shredding sequences.
