"Real Verse" is an original guitar instrumental blending Heavy Metal, Epic Metal, and Progressive Rock composed and arranged by Nene Royal. It was created as an entry for the 14th Overdrive Guitar Contest (2026), one of Thailand's premier music and electric guitar competitions. Nick Murray handled the arrangement of the backing track, and Nene entered the piece in the "Open" category (no age limit).

She is still a student and English is not her native language, yet she gave an interview stating that she is working on her own music.

I don't know, but you've probably noticed it too: NeNe uses the pick with the same ease on upstrokes as she does on downstrokes. As far as I know, this is a challenging technique that only master guitarists can truly pull off—or am I mistaken?
