I loved the NBA games on CBS. Gary Bender, Brent Muskburger, Dick Stockton. It was "Fantastic".

Moses Totally came of age in National spotlight in this series - I remember it well

27:32 Peace to Calvin Murphy.  People told him that he was to short to play in the NBA ... He earned a spot in The Hall of Fame.

Excellent picture quality! Thank you.

Great pre-game interviews.

Gary Bender was an underrated announcer.

Dunleavy hits the shot.  He would coach the Lakers in 91, and Del Harris would coach them in 1995.  The NBA goes round and round...

Crazy to be inside the huddle on TO's.  Couldn't imagine having that in today's world.

It's so nice to see post play again!

Houston was the only team to defeat the Lakers in the Western Conference playoffs in the 80s

Love Youtube. Here right after Winning Time episode 2 Season 2.  Post game again, cool!

It's fun to watch the commercials

Moses was the most dominant center in the league in the early 80's.

Commentators:
Gary Bender & Bill Russell.

If I was Del Harris I would have told Willoughby "Play tough on defense, hit the boards hard, but don't take a shot unless you are right at the basket".

There was a reason why the first round was referred to as the "dreaded" mini series. If a team--even one superior in talent--wasn't ready to play, it could be beaten in a short series. The Rockets were just a bad matchup for Los Angeles. They weren't pretty, but their ability to pound the offensive glass limited the Lakers' fastbreak opportunities and forced them to play more of a halfcourt game.

That Dunleavy bucket should be considered one of the greatest playoff buckets in NBA history, along with other first round clutch buckets

Awesome upload! Thanks for keeping intro and commercials. Great time capsule.

Excellent footage quality. And interesting match. Thanks you!!
