There's one story Hollywood rarely tells, and it's the story that Breaking Bad dared to tell. Breaking Bad is considered by many the greatest television show ever made winning 16 Primetime Emmy Awards during its run. Breaking Bad became a cultural phenomenon, generating more memes than any other TV show out there. But Breaking Bad is also a story that Hollywood didn't want to tell. Every major network passed on it and studios called it unmarketable. Today, we're gonna dive into the one story Hollywood won't tell. And show you why there will never be another show like Breaking Bad.

AMC greenlighting Mad Men AND Breaking Bad at the same time has to be one of the best decisions any tv network has ever made. Whomever did that deserves to be running a major entertainment company.

I’ve rewatched breaking bad every couple of years for the last 13 years since it ended. It is THAT good

Was recently watching a show, Pluribus, kinda randomly and got sucked in. “Dang this is pretty good!” and then Vince Gilligan’s name popped up at the end. “Oh! Well that makes sense”

Tony Soprano did it first though. He absolutely was irredeemable by the end of the show

I love the time when the companies dared to look outside the box. Now everything is about algorithms, no company dares to be original anymore.

When they decided to kill the kid on the motorcycle who just was in the wrong place at the wrong time... That's when I could no longer root for Walter White. But I still kept watching until the bitter end.

You have to always be careful of the meek. One ounce of power turns them into ruthless despots.

Vince Gilligan is genius in pulling the brilliant finale in both series better call Saul and Breaking Bad

I used to think nothing could top Breaking Bad until I finished Better Call Saul. It doesn’t rely on cheap shocking moments, just pure, masterful storytelling.

The Sopranos came out almost a decade before Breaking Bad and didn’t have redeeming main characters. We rooted for a horrible, fat, and balding lead mobster.

I just finished re-watching the series yesterday and what really made an impact on me is how much the writers and the creators cared about the characters and their viewers. In other shows, like Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, it was very obvious as they went on that they were chasing big shocking moments or they were stretching out storylines to create suspense to chase viewership. Breaking bad, never did that. It was always about the story. It was always about honouring the characters and it really paid off.

I love how Walter White's compelling story of an honest genius turned drug kingpin just turned out to be a chaotic force the came out of no where and completely F'd up a bunch of carefully built drug empires like Tuco, Gus and even Saul's and Mike's personal lives.

This video is more recent than I expected. Just shows how breaking bad is still relevant today as it was when it came out.

I feel like we praise Bryan and Aaron but we don't give enough to Anna for her performance! She really did good with her role, the way she wrestles with everything and the decisions she makes feel very believable
