When I went to Japan last year I saw someone with the Sonic Harry Potter Obama backpack. I will never forgive myself for not asking them where they got it.

If there is a Vinesauce Sunday stream with a bootleg segment, you know you're in for a gay ol' time.

The "Frozen with Guns" at 12:30, "Why does Olaf have a special ops outfit and gun" Well.. He's an ICE agent after all, so...

i've always felt that vinesauce and bootlegs are highly intertwined for some reason.

51:15 this is from Mar del Plata in Argentina. It depicts Homer as a drugged Aldosivi (local football/soccer team) fan murdering Flanders as an Alvarado (rival team to Aldosivi) fan while Nelson laughs and says "Se re regaló" which in this context means something like "He walked right into it", as in: this guy showed up in an Aldosivi neighbourhood wearing an Alvarado jersey, he presented as prey.
I cannot believe Vinny reacted to something from my city lol

I feel like the anus backpack is such an iconic bootleg that you might be able to buy modern replicas of it

50:41 Hey, actually I have an explanation for that one, there is a very famous mural in Mexico called "The Torment of Cuauhtemoc" made in the 50's, the mural shows the last aztec ruler being tortured by the spanish conquistadors, and this is just a parody alongside some other mexican references

it's amazing seeing him see the actual merch of robert cop 2. and like he's just aware enough of the joel song to wonder if joel came up with the idea independently

42:17 Some of these are actually very clever. Hidey-ho, Nidorino!

32:52 I just want to emphasize this was made by humans. A person thought “let’s make a teacup ride, where you sit on concave homers”. Someone had to make a fiberglass statue of Bart simpsons ass for their job at the bootleg ride factory.

as a professional transformers knockoff finder, "deformation" is actually a very common word. It's effectively the most popular word for a transforming robot toy that china uses. It's like it when fake lego companies will refer to their product just as "bricks". Deformation is a result of the chinese word being barely translated straight up.
